Kanye West released some big news on Twitter today. The Chicago rapper tweeted out an image of a morphed 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne face, with the caption that revealed the name of the joint project as well.

This picture appears to also be the cover artwork and the project is called, “Collegrove”. The title combines the two artists’ hometowns of College Park, Georgia and Hollygrove, which is a neighborhood in New Orleans.

While it appears Kanye West may just be supporting his friends and frequent collaborators, it would make sense that he is involved with the project in some capacity.

The collaborative effort is set to be released on Friday (March 4th) and had been in the making at least since November, when 2 Chainz originally announced it. The two also performed the song, “Rolls Royce Everyday” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month which is the first single off “Collegrove”.
