Rapper Lil’ Romeo has only attended college for five weeks, but he’s already learned a few lessons about surviving on campus. 

“Lock your bike!” says the University of Southern California freshman, 19, who has had three expensive bikes stolen. “Now I just have a little $5 bike that hopefully no one will want.” 

As for jewelry, “I don’t bring anything expensive to the dorms,” he says. “I just sleep with my earrings on.” 

The rapper, who plays basketball as a point guard for the Trojans and plans to major in film production, also reveals a surprising taste in movies. “I love romantic comedies,” he says. “[I like] Made of Honor and 27 Dresses. “And I just rented The Notebook!” 

And just like any other freshman, Top Roman, cereal and Easy Mac crowd the kitchen counter tops of his dorm. 

“I love college life,” he says. “It’s like a vacation.”

House Peters Jr., a TV actor who became the original Mr. Clean in Proctor & Gamble’s commercials for household cleaners, died Wednesday. He was 92.

Peters died of pneumonia at the Motion Picture and Television Fund Hospital in Los Angeles, said his son, Jon Peters.

The elder Peters’ most memorable role came as Mr. Clean — a muscular man with a bald head, a hoop earring and a no-nonsense attitude toward dirt and grime. From the late 1950s and into the early 1960s, Peters Jr. helped advertise the famous household cleaner with the trademark jingle, “Mr. Clean, Mr. Clean.”

Janet Jackson is in the hospital after suddenly falling ill.  W&W Public Relations tells E! Online the singer was rushed to the hospital Monday after she got sick during a sound check for her concert in Montreal.  No information has been released about Jackson’s condition but local doctors are monitoring her.  Jackson reportedly hopes to reschedule the Montreal gig.  Last Friday the singer cancelled an appearance in Detroit for her Rock Witchu road show citing, quote, “production constraints.”

The Internet is buzzing with rumors that Mariah Carey is already carrying her new husband’s baby. And MediaTakeOut.com says the R&B star will confirm the news today. A source tells the Website that Mariah is planning to appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” via satellite to make the announcement. Mariah and Nick Cannon tied the knot in the Bahamas back in April. Afterwards, Mariah told “People” magazine that she was hoping to start a family soon because, quote, “It’s part of the whole purpose of getting married.” Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola.

Yesterday actress Lindsay Lohan confirmed she has been dating Samantha Ronson for “a very long time”.this is what she told the Associated Press:

Ronson is listed as a “celebrity DJ” who will be working at the Swerve nightclub in Atlanta starting at 10 p.m.

Lohan recently confirmed what the world had guessed: She has been dating Ronson “a very long time.”

The 22-year-old actress casually told the co-host of the syndicated radio program “Loveline” that she’s been dating the 31-year-old DJ. The pair have appeared in public and been photographed together for but have never publicly commented about the extent of their relationship.

“You guys, you and Samantha, have been going out for how long now?” DJ Ted Stryker asked. “Like two years, one year, five months, two months?”

“For a very long time,” Lohan said after laughing.

Stryker interviewed Ronson while she took a break from DJing at TV Guide’s Emmy afterparty in Los Angeles. Ronson had been discussing her friendship with DJ AM and Travis Barker, who are recovering from severe burns following a plane crash in South Carolina last weekend, before putting Lohan on the phone.

Lohan’s publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnik, told The Associated Press that Lohan is not engaged to be married.
