My High School Home Coming
Over the weekend, I was able to reminisce on old times. In doing so, I got a chance to go back to my alma mater, Banneker High School. Remembering how the kids used to be and looking at the kids now, I have to say, “I’m old as hell!” I don’t know what it is, it seems as if the teens are getting crazier each year. I saw a few of my old teachers who are now older than dirt. I also go a chance to see the band who didn’t get a chance to rip the field, but they were blowing in the stands. It brought me back to when I played the drums and the trumpet, wasn’t really good with either one, but I still played both of them.

In being back at “b-town,” I saw lots of old friends and associates including the “love of my life” which made me remember all of the valentines birthday, x Mass cards, candies, and teddy bears that were sent without a response. As I walked to her, I started to get butterflies as they soon went away when she barley remembered my name. I noticed she was with some dude who looked as if he could be a drug dealer looking on the verge of being homeless. I have nothing against drug dealers, dope dealers, or anyone selling narcotics. Freddyo has love for everyone. But, I have to say, I really enjoyed myself.
Shout out to b-town and Feldwood High Alum who could’nt make it out: “Ludda,” “Young Joc,” “Montanna,” “Bear,” and many many more!
