Jay-Z Not Making The Money He Use To…

It appears the current world economic crisis is affecting those in the hip-hop world. According to “The London Paper,” Jay-Z was in England over the weekend to watch his New Jersey Nets play against the Miami Heat in an exhibition game. Jay’s people reportedly tried to get clubs to shell out nearly 50-thousand dollars for him to appear. But nobody bit on the offer, so Jay’s camp dropped the fee to around 15-thousand — and they were still no takers. A London club source said, quote, “No club is willing to stump up the cash. At this rate, he might even have to party for free.”
Jay-Z is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets. He paid just over four-million dollars for his stake in the team back in 2004 when developer Bruce Ratner bought the Nets.
