Danity Kane Is Now Down To 2 Shannon Say She’s Out!!!!

Internet reports say Danity Kane is now down to just two members, but the group’s record company is keeping mum about it.  MTV.com spoke with a rep from Atlantic Records about rumors that Shannon Bex has left the group.  But Atlantic has yet to comment on the issue.  A source told New York DJ Elvis Duran that Bex was reportedly tired of the “drama” and Danity Kane creator Sean “Diddy” Combs.  Diddy recently kicked out Danity Kane members Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods on the “Making the Band 4″ season finale.  Danity Kane also features Aundrea Fimbres and Dawn Richard. 

Atlantic Records did shut down another rumor about Danity Kane, though.  According to the label, R&B singer Cassie has not joined the group.  An Atlantic spokesperson noted, quote, “Cassie is set to release her second solo album in spring of ‘09.”  Cassie is best known for her debut single, the 2006 top-three hit “Me & U.”  She’s failed to chart a top 40 tune since then.
