Wanda Sykes Comes Out Of The Closet As Married Lesbian

I didnt see this coming  ya right … LOL Wanda Sykes is not only admitting she’s a lesbian, she’s one of the people affected by the recent passage of California’s Proposition 8.  SandraRose.com E! Online reports the actress-comedienne made the announcement Saturday at a gay-marriage rally in Las Vegas.  According to Sykes, she and her partner tied the knot in California just days before voters there passed Prop 8, which makes gay marriages illegal.  She said she never talked about her sexual orientation in the past because, quote, “I was just living my life.”  But now Sykes notes she’s “pissed off” about Prop 8’s passage.  She adds, quote, “They have galvanized a community…Instead of having gay marriage in California, we’re going to get it across the country.”  Sykes’ credits include the films “Evan Almighty” and “Monster-In-Law.”  She currently stars in the CBS sitcom “The New Adventures of Old Christine.”
