Luda’s Album Release Party

November 24th, 2008 means that Theater Of The Mind, the most important album ever recorded by Ludacris, Disturbing Tha Peace CEO and DTP/Def Jam recording artist, is now stores. Last night, Luda let the ATL know that he is back. He and AG Entertainment threw one of the city’s biggest parties at the Velvet Room. The club was jammed packed with people just wanting to show their love for Luda and/or to take a picture with their camera phone. Here are some of the pics…..
Ludacris is down playing the upcoming album release battle between he and Kanye West. Both artists are dropping their latest projects, both which are now in stores. Luda says he doesn’t feel like there’s any competition because Kanye’s new album has, “more singing and the auto-tune thing.” With Black Friday –traditionally the biggest shopping day of the year — coming up, Luda hopes he and Kanye can each benefit. He adds, “You have some Luda fans and some Kanye fans, but what’s important is that you go out and get some good music.” His “Theater of the Mind” features the singles “What Them Girls Like” and “One More Drink,” while Kanye’s “808s and Heartbreak” includes “Love Lockdown” and “Heartless.”
Cops Walk Of With Man’s Xbox, That He Paid For
CNN reports “The Orange County Sheriff’s Office explains why a deputy walked off with someone’s Xbox”I hate when people with power over use it…..
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is trying to explain why a deputy walked off with someone else’s Xbox following a traffic stop. The owner says he was in a car that got pulled over at Silver Star and Hiawassee roads for speeding, but instead of issuing a speeding ticket the deputy took his Xbox. The owner showed up with the original box and receipt to claim his Xbox, but when deputies looked for it they couldn’t find it in the evidence room.Orange County deputies stopped Kenyatta Hillman and his friend on Friday afternoon for speeding. When deputies pulled them over, they searched the car because they said they smelled marijuana. They didn’t find any drugs, but found an Xbox with eight games.
“He said, ‘When you got your receipt and box and we’ll meet someplace, you show me your receipt and I’ll give you your game.’ I didn’t understand them,” Hillman said. The deputy ran the serial numbers and it did not come up as stolen, but he took the game system anyway. He told Hillman he wanted to make sure no one reported it stolen. Deputies told Eyewitness News there had been a lot of burglaries in the area and Xbox systems are hot. Hillman then took his empty box and receipt to the sheriff’s office to get his Xbox, but no one was able to find it. They said, ‘We don’t know what is going on. It was no arrest, no police file, no case. We can’t find it,’” Hillman said. Hillman believes he was stopped because he’s poor and the because of the way he looks.
“It’s probably the neighborhood. It’s probably, look at me, because of my hair, the way I dressed,” he said. When Eyewitness News called the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a spokesperson said they couldn’t find the gaming system because it had not yet been transferred to the evidence room.
Later, Hillman got a hold of the supervisor, Sgt. Hosey. Hillman said Hosey told him he had the system and would give it back.
“‘I can’t do anything this week. I’ll call you Friday and I’ll meet you Friday and then give you your Xbox back,’” Hilman described.

Why Not Just Leave Janet Alone!!!
Why not just leave Janet alone! The FCC is taking the case of Janet Jackson’s infamous Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction” to the nation’s highest court. According to “Variety,” the agency has asked the Supreme Court to review an earlier ruling against it. The FCC originally levied a 550-thousand-dollar fine against CBS because Jackson’s right breast was seen briefly at the end of her Super Bowl 38 halftime show. CBS won a lower-court appeal earlier this year, with the court deciding the FCC, quote, “arbitrarily and capriciously departed from its prior policy” which exempted what is describes as fleeting broadcast material from actionable violations of decency rules.
The Supreme Court is currently hearing an appeal brought by the FCC regarding a lower-court decision in favor of Fox. The network challenged the FCC’s 2004 change in its treatment of “fleeting expletives.” The FCC has asked the Supreme Court to wait on the CBS case until it makes a decision in the Fox case. I really think that this is just the people at the top trying to bring her down, and I dont understand what was the big dill you tell me?
