Beyonce may be doing well on the charts, but her sister isn’t getting any love for her fashions. “Access Hollywood” named Solange Knowles to its worst-dressed of 2008 list for wearing a black-feathered gown on the red carpet. “Access Hollywood” dubbed the dress, quote, “peacock posh.” Former Spice Girls singer Mel B also got slammed for wearing a hooded dress on the red carpet. Others making the list included pop stars Madonna, Jessica Simpson, and Katy Perry. Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson was thrown under the bus for her continued use of see-through white outfits.
E-40’s latest gig ended in violence. According to the “Denver Post,” the rapper was in the Colorado city over the weekend for a show at Club Vinyl. One person was critically injured after gunshots rang out at 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning outside of the club. Four others were hit by gunfire, but were treated and released. Police say they’re still investigating the matter. The same area was where NFL star Darrent Williams was killed when his limo was strafed with bullets in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day 2007.
Claims that Michael Jackson needs a lung transplant because of a rare respiratory disease are a “total fabrication,” according to a statement from Jackson’s official spokesperson, Dr. Tohme Tohme, released by the Los Angeles firm, Scoop Marketing, Reuters reports.
Word of Jackson’s supposed condition – that he was suffering from Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency – had circulated after writer Ian Halperin, at work on an upcoming biography of the 50-year-old music legend, was interviewed in Britain’s Sunday Expressnewspaper.
