    I really wish they would give other aspiring actresses or even current actresses a shot at these roles Beyonce has been playing in. Her acting skills aint good!!! She may have got more money than she can spend and more grammy’s that she can imagine, but an oscar or academy award for best actress or best supporting actress- she can wait on that.

    @ Veus, I 100% agree with you! She has enough money where she can buy up movie rights left and right, therefore she has total control over who plays the leading roles. This is very unfair to the real actresses that has real talent. I will be waiting for this one to come to cable, she is such a horrible actor that I refuse to waist my money.

    It’s not her acting that’s the problem because the girl is talented it’s:

    1. Her southern voice
    2. Her jealous husband Jay (that’s why she look ackward in Idris arms she does not appear to be comfortable playing a loving wife to Idris for fear of what Jay will say or feel.
    3. Her controlling father.

    Its not her acting. she knows how to act. its the fact that when people see her movies they see beyonce and not who she plays. Beyonce is so big and everywhere some people are having trouble seeing her acting roles

    I agree with Sam..People don’t see her acting ability they just see the “Sasha Fierce”. I do think she should have changed her southern voice though. I still think this move will be great. And more than likely she has a small role anyway

    Actually if you would do research before you start bein so negative, beyonce did not buy the role, they offered it to her, so obviously they thought she was good enough for the role, & I think her expanding her acting career is good move for her, she is very talented, so they know who their picking, & its not unfair to other actresses’ because they get their roles, so why can’t we give she get a chance to be in movies
    Its sad how ppl hate on other ppl’s talent! Damn get a life!

    I saw the new B movie trailer at the Notorious movie last week.I can’t wait to see it. Sure it looks just like a Black version of Fatal Attraction with the White woman thrown in as a twist. Sure the movie won’t be a Academy award contender, but my girl friends and I can’t wait to see it for a night of mindless, fun entertainment. Any one knows when the movie opens????

    After watching the trailer, I think the role should be played by someone else that has REAL talent other than Beyonce. First of all she can’t sing nor act. The movie probably would be great without Beyonce acting. Seriously, what is wrong with America? The message I get, you don’t need talent, just show some body parts and you can start in your own movie.

    Just reading 90% of the comments and everyone is so negative, typical society its embedded ni us to always hate on the higher achievers, i say congrats on Beyonce for heading we’re she’s heading is there plenty of better actresses out there short answer YES, but they never became great overnight and theyve all had many a tank movie.. so give her a chance i say she’s already ready created greatness with her voice lets see her grow into an awesome actress to with time..

    Kem & Tyrese shut the hell up! Damn just b/c a person speaks their mind isn’t hating. We want to see real actors in movies, we pay enough for the damn ticket. They should put ACTORS in MOVIES, people who’ve studied and mastered the craft. Not a stiff singer trying to act to finally get the oscar. When they need someone to sing & jiggle, Bey is great, but when they need some depth, substance & drama for a role call Gabrielle Union, Angie Bassett, the list goes on. So shut the hell up.

    I’m not really a Beyonce fan, however, the small part I did see, mainly the fight scene, she (Beyonce) was pretty good. Now, I will admit, she is not a good actress and I don’t feel they should ruin a great script with her. There are oh so many actress that would have gotten this movie into Oscar standing, but I know she won’t. She’s going to do more harm than good to what seems like a very good movie.

    To all the negative things about Beyonce need to stop because if you guys & girls knew what you were talking bout you would know that she had to audition just like everybody else! You can buy being in movies so were did that even come from. But people need to see Beyonce in a suspense movie. It a big step up from the past movies she’s done. & those were the one were u see Beyonce! So please stop with negativity and just be happy for the girl

    I seen the movie trailer. I was surprised. I didn’t know that she even had a movie coming out. Congrats to Bey. From the little part that I seen. The movie looks pretty good and supenseful. I would say a version of The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. Does anyone remember that movie?

    here’s my take-I think Beyonce is getting into all these acting projects to avoid having Jay Z’s baby. she should have been pregnant by now, right??? She needs to sit down, have a baby, and stay out of the public eye for for a year or two. I love B, but I’m so tired of her. Her acting is horrible. Thank god i bought the movie Cadillac Records on bootleg. She never let’s go of herself, everytime you see her in a role, it always comes across as “I’m beyonce, I’m pretty, I have money, i’m the sh**.” Go have Jay Z’s baby and leave us alone for awhile! I want to see Obsessed, but i’m dreading beyonce’s performance.

    She is not a good actress. Every individual have their limits and that is simply hers. Why she can’t perform well isn’t really none of anyone’s concern but only that she cannot perform (in acting). She probably was chosen because she would cause a lot of people to want to see the movie. People would want to see a Beyonce movie and she’s kicking another woman’s ass who’s comin on to her husband. Come on, be serious. It was a marketing ploy and to open up their first weekend big (which they are) but she is NOT an actress. A singer, yes. A great performer, yes. An actress, no. So that whole we only see beyonce when she acts is stupid. We all don’t even know her to know how she truly is to feel that its fake. The female is stiff. Period. Her voice doesn’t change. SHE JUST CANNOT ACT.

    All of u hatin r freakin crazy dis movie is the bomb definetly da movie of year so far be sure did do her thing the only problem is her character has an accent so U may think its bad acting but I know its hot
