T.I. PAYS HIS OVERDUE LEGAL BILL: Rapper writes a check for $8,000 to pay outstanding bills.

T.I. wrote a check for $8,000 in court Tuesday to pay an overdue lawyer bill for the mother of two of his sons, telling a judge the debt was an oversight.

      Lawyers for LaShon Dixon asked a Fulton County judge sought out the Atlanta courts after the 28-year-old rapper, born Clifford Harris, failed to pay up by his November due date. He had agreed to the payment as part of an ongoing child support case.
     
      According to the Associated Press, T.I. showed up at the courthouse with the check in hand, effectively settling the matter. During the hearing, the rapper told the judge the order to pay got lost when he changed assistants.

    In my opinion, I feel as though TI does a great job in taking care of his kids. He constantly speaks of how much he loves his kids, as well as shows the public how much he cares. Despite the mishaps that have occurred during his career, TI has proven to be a great artist, father, and person. Nobody is perfect.
    As for this child support situation I have my views on it also. I feel like she is trying to make a come up for herself. I think that she wants to live and have TI take care of her, the same way he takes care of Tiny. I think that a factor to her wanting more money is the constant media attention Tiny has of rocking the latest fashions, and also how the media has publicly announced how these jump offs/baby mama’s of Diddy’s among other celebrities get a month. She should really be happy with all that he does for his kids. Like he said they do not want for anything. Some parents, like myself, do not even get a $100 yet alone $25 from the fathers. Be grateful for the stand up guys because there are a lot of men who are very well capable of taking care of their kids but don’t just out of spite of the mothers. I feel as if I do what I have to do as a mother and provide for my kids to hell with the daddy. As long as I do what is right by my kids I’m ok, and I let the Lord deal with him. My opinion not trying to come off offensively.

    Being a “baby moma” does not classify as a career. Get yo ass up and work. This makes all african american women look like we are greedy and can’t take care of their kids. Mothers have sole responsibilty because they are a child’s first teacher, and they carry them for nine months. So you ought to be the strongest figure they see not the father for moving on (even though he and many others take care of their kids). Child support is a cop out for just being lazy. You can always work harder those are your kids for christ sake and they are always in your care. So stop making excuses!!!!! Get off ya asses and work. If he dont wanna do his part, you shouldn’t make him. Just be stonger and move on!!!!!!!!
    This really makes all of us look bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Attention: Men, please use protection, in a court of law and other races understand this; if you accidentally or purposely create a child with a woman, you have automatically made that WOMAN & CHILD your family. Therfore, sleep with only a woman you would marry, only marry the woman that has the intellect, skills, compatiblity and the potential to be an excellent mother to your children. These are your responsiblities as a MAN. If YOU FAIL to follow these guidelines, don’t complain that you now have to SUPPORT BABY MAMA & KIDS and how she’s a trifling baby mama.

    Attention: Women, please use protection, the man telling you he will pull out doesn’t always work. Most BLACK MEN & WOMEN don’t understand that when you create a child together, the WOMAN & the CHILD are the man’s family and financial responsiblity. Therefore, sleep only with a man that you would marry, and only marry a man with intellect, skills and compatibility and potential to be an excellent father and provider to YOU and YOUR CHILD and be happy to do it!
    Black women seem to be jealous if another woman is actually getting the support she didn’t and should have received. Some actually called it “dogging the baby daddy out” if the woman requests more money when the make starts making more money. It’s ironic that a Black man can make millions per year and black people say she’s dogging him for asking for $10k or $20k per month that’s still less $250k per year of the precious Baby Daddy’s millions per year salary.
    Why should the man have to take care of the baby mama’s expenses as well, isn’t taking care of his child enough? No, this would only be fair if you created an object not a child together. Then the woman and the man should both contribute the same amount and go visit the object (like artwork). Neither would have the responsiblity of choosing between how and when to juggle, school and or work for themselves and finding proper daycare. Then, helping with homework, doctor visits, middle of the night crying, investing time, energy, emotional and physical stress of the pregnancy itself and the scars that can be left behind. Many BLACKS say Baby Mamma doesn’t classify as a job. I say it’s the most difficult and important job in the world and should have the highest pay possible (only qualified individuals should apply LOL). Interestingly, white woman dealing with millionaires or upper middle-class men don’t catch the hell we give our sisters. They are proud that their friend’s ex-husband or baby daddy is a high paid executive or millionaire and is able to give her GIRLFRIEND and the KIDS enough to continue the lifestyle they were accustomed to before he ran off with his secretary.

    Okay this is for Veus I can’t believe that you just said that! My mother got child support for me and my sister and still worked three jobs! Come on now just because you’re not getting it doesn’t mean that you’re lazy! You’re just getting a little extra money to spend on the kids anyway. So what about the men that are getting the checks? Are they lazy? You really need to think and understand that it doesn’t make you lazy to get money for your children not all of us are out for that$$$ You just p!ssed me off with that
