The New York Daily News is reporting that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has just started filming its second season and this time, Kim Zolciak’s secret married boyfriend will show his face. According to an unnamed source, the man Kim referred to last year as “Big Poppa” has left his regular residence and has moved in with Zolciak and her two daughters. Zolciak, who claims she’s 30, freely admitted that Big Poppa was still legally married when she was dating him throughout season 1, but explained to Essence.com in November “he has been going through a divorce for years.”

The lone white housewife in the cast called off her engagement to her married man after the show wrapped last year, but the twosome has apparently since rekindled their romance. If he appears on the show, “Big Poppa” will join another new castmate, rumored to be Zolciak’s pal Cori Davenport, who sporadically appeared on season one. Davenport would replace housewife DeShawn Snow, who was dropped from the show in January.

DMX’s 90 days behind bars could become much more following an alleged altercation. Charges of aggravated assault were filed after the rapper allegedly threw a tray of food at the officer in the Maricopa County jail in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday. The guard says he confronted DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, after the rapper allegedly took the food without paying for it. Maricopa Country Sheriff Joe Arpaio said in a statement, quote, “This inmate has a serious anger management issue and shouldn’t be allowed out of jail or prison until he has it under control.” DMX has been jailed since pleading guilty in January to animal cruelty, theft and drug charges. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 18 months of probation.

Former Danity Kane Singer Aubrey O’Day Still Open To Reunion

Thursday February 26th 2009

Apparently Aubrey O’Day still has a soft spot in her heart for Danity Kane. MTV.com reports the singer, who was kicked out of the group last year, says she would, quote, “never say no” to reuniting with the other girls. O’Day and fellow singer D. Woods were given the boot on last year’s season finale of “Making the Band 4.” Group creator Sean “Diddy” Combs told O’Day at the time that he didn’t like her attitude. O’Day is now pursuing a solo career, and recently posed for “Playboy” magazine.
Danity Kane’s disbanding was apparently made official earlier this month when the new season of “Making The Band 4″ premiered. Group member Dawn Richard told MTV that Diddy had invited all five of the girls to return to the show, but only two showed up. The group’s hits included 2006’s “Show Stopper” and 2008’s “Damaged.”

Some new information has come to light in the investigation involving a leaked picture purported to be singer Rihanna. E! News reports the Los Angeles Police Department has discovered from which computer the photograph of a woman’s bruised and cut face was sent. The picture emerged on gossip website TMZ.com last week. While the LAPD has not confirmed the face is that of the “Disturbia” singer, LAPD spokesman Lieutenant John Romero said authorities are, quote, “looking into it vigorously.” The picture was splashed on the Internet just a couple of weeks after Rihanna and boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown got into an alleged physical fight in the early hours of February 8th. Brown has been charged with making criminal threats and an investigation into domestic abuse charges is ongoing. While police continue to search for who leaked the picture, they say that a violation of this type could lead to termination.
Rihanna released her first statement since the incident with Brown last Friday. The same day she turned 21, Rihanna assured fans she is doing fine and continuing to be strong. The incident caused both Rihanna and Brown to cancel separate performances scheduled for February 8th’s 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Bow Wow and Ne-Yo are the latest artists to speak publically about Chris Brown’s alleged abuse of Rihanna. The pair spoke separately about the incident, and stressed the importance of hearing from both sides before making any judgment.

“I mean, being in the business, the first thing is ‘Ah, it’s false, another rumor, bloggers just wanting to have traffic to their site,’” Bow Wow told OK! magazine, “but when the story was unfolding, it was kind of shocking to all. Chris is a good friend of mine. We’ve had the opportunity to tour together. And then Rihanna, she’s just a beautiful person. Period. Never done no wrong to nobody.”

The rapper continued, “At the end of the day I’ve always believed in whatever happens with people’s business… my mom always told me don’t get into. And the situation is so major, I think they just need their space and I think they need to deal with it… I’m praying for them both.”

As for the photo leaked by TMZ.com on Thursday showing Rihanna’s bruises, Bow Wow said it was “just shocking. I mean, we heard what happened, but we really didn’t get a visual for it. But I mean hey, man. The picture speaks for itself.”

Ne-Yo, who said he has spoken to Rihanna since the incident, told MTV that the photo “hurt me to my heart, man. Again, I still don’t know what happened, ’cause I haven’t had the opportunity to talk to Chris yet. But to take it to that level really hurt my heart. All I can say is, I’m praying for both of them. They’re both in my prayers. I haven’t had a chance to talk to Chris yet. I just wanna sit down and talk to that dude and just explain if he doesn’t understand: ‘That’s not something that’s excusable, bruh. You have to get a little smarter about whatever it is going on in your relationship. You have to get a little smarter about how you handle certain situations.’”

Still, Ne-Yo refused to be Brown’s judge and jury. “I’m not going to crucify him,” Ne-Yo said. “I’m not going to do that. That’s still my homeboy at the end of the day. For it to go to that level was wrong. I won’t say who was responsible. I won’t pick no sides. I’m just saying it was wrong [that] it had to happen like that, and I’m praying for the both of them.”

According to online betting site Bookmaker.com, betters are reportedly getting $1.12 back for every $1 bet if Brown is sent to jail in connection with the beating of Rihanna, while those who wagered $1 on Brown not getting any jail time will get back $2.35.        The site says that odds were a lot different before the unauthorized picture was leaked.

So far, Brown has only been charged with making criminal threats. Since the incident, Brown released a public apology saying he was “sorry and saddened,” but did not discuss any specific details.

TUPAC’S MOM COUNTERSUES FILM COMPANY: Afeni Shakur hits Morgan Creek for alleging she backed out of deal to sell son’s life story.

The mother of Tupac Shakur has countersued a film production company that alleges she backed out of a deal to sell the rights to the late rapper’s life story for a biopic.

Amaru Entertainment, headed by Afeni Shakur, the star’s mother and the executor of his estate, is being sued by film production company Morgan Creek, which claims a written contract was in place for the rights to Pac’s life story.

Morgan Creek alleged in papers filed Feb. 16 that Afeni Shakur backed out of negotiations, which began in November, and is refusing “to honor and perform a contract of a production of the film based on the life of Tupac Shakur.”

Lawyers for Amaru denied existence of any such deal with Morgan Creek and claimed the production company only filed the writ to sabotage talks with other movie studios about adapting Shakur’s life story.  Representatives for Afeni Shakur have now countersued Morgan Creek over the movie and sabotage allegations.

“Sadly, Morgan Creek decided to take advantage of this situation and attempt to frustrate our project by interfering with our business relationships,” said a rep for Amaru. “We will not be frightened by Morgan Creek’s tactics and we are absolutely confident that the movie will be produced and released.

“Tupac’s story is what Hollywood legends are made of – and we want to make sure that the movie tells Tupac’s story like it should be told and lives up to everyone’s expectations.”
