Over the weekend I got to attend a private wine tasting hosted by my girl Mrs. Lisa Wu Hartwell, she asked all of her close and personal friends to come to the event. Ok, so to get right to the point Mr. Dwight Eubanks is really getting out of hand with his new lover / Fiance’  and she could not take her hands off of him. Yes, thats right Dewight could not get a enough of his girl and they at one point was trying to get it on in the bathroom but I don’t really care to think about that…. Dwight wanted everyone to see his painted jacket made of mink that he designed and hand sewed , but since PETA caught up with his ass I don’t think we will get to see him rock it anytime soon.

I have to say the event was decked out  it was put on by Jamal King. The event required all luxury items and any fool could see that this soiree’ cost a pretty penny. My Girls Sheree, Kandi, and NeNe, also came and were completly caught off guard when they found out that the honorary “Housewife” had a fiance’e, he also told them that he has another boo as well.  I have to say I know yall are getting sick of all these pics of him but sorry kids its just plain funny. He  goes out of his way to make sure everyone knows that he’s Atlanta’s top attention whore !  More pics to come, but I just had to put this foolishness out there.

I was on one of my favorite websites Concreteloop.com and saw this story. Since I am a talented painter myself, when I saw this story knew I had to talk about it …. 

Los Angeles visual artist Steven Lopez features singer/actress Erykah Badu in his latest addition to the “After Midnight” series, a collection of portraits celebrating notable musicians/singers, including Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Jill Scott, Sade and India.Arie, among others.

Lopez recently went to Badu’s home in Dallas, Texas to complete the signing of 100 limited edition prints which will be available for sale at midnight on April 15th, exclusively on AFTERMIDNIGHTSOUL.COM.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to Badu’s non-profit, Beautiful Love Incorporated Non-Profit Development (B.L.I.N.D.), a charity organization she established to provide community-based programs for inner-city youth.

So we all know that Keri Hilson had her album relsease party last week but what most people don’t know is what really went into putting the big gala together. Keri and her Zone 4 family wanted to go all out for the party so they hired the one and only Hannah Kang and Laura Giles with Music Business Politic to put on the production. In doing so the party was “In a Perfect World” themed which is also the title of  Keri’s album.

The room borrowed from Alice In Wonder Land, they wanted to make the building seem magical so they created a gaint tree that took over the dance floor that had a face built into it. There were 5 foot flowers that where imported from around the world placed all around the building.

The party also had special flower arrangements with oversized flowers and butterflies that where each placed on all the tables.  The Invitations were made from 14 karat gold, and they gave out almost 200 bottles of Perrier Jouet, Moet Rose, not to mention the thousands of cup cakes.

This was definitley a party to fit Ms. Keri Baby. So not only does she have a hit record on her resume’ she knows how to throw a bangin’ party.

Shout out to Fabulous, T.I., Lil Scrappy, JD, Diamond, Socialites Sarah Chapman and many more for coming out to show Keri and the entire Zone 4 family love.

The other day, I have to say, that I was very taken by the reaction that a gym of girls gave to the group Day 26. I always hear about people running the artist down trying to touch what ever they can and passing out because they where so moved or because they got to meet the person. “Day 26 came out and motivated over 300 teen girls about the danger of domestic violence and how to stay away from it. “If he Hits you Run, Run, Run,” is what Willie told the young women who could not stop screaming and crying. The guys who where in town to promote there sophomore “Forever in a Day”, which will be released April 14, 2009  and wanted to give back to the community so they got up with “Its Cool To Be Smart”. The Group spoke to 11th and 12th graders at McNair High School on issues that affect young women with domestic violence and empowering young women to be queens. The guys really moved the young women, who got to ask any question that they wanted. 

Q, one of the members in Day 26 surprised the teens by stepping into the packed and full audience as he took time to quiet the young ladies down so they could hear the powerful message. I have to say I was kind of scared for his life after watching the young women do what ever they could to cop a feel, but he ain’t never scared is what he told them.  Before ending the discussion Will said “dont’ stay in an abusive relationship, get out and run to find help”.  The girls at Mcnair really enjoyed the discussion with the group one of the young women told me “Mr. Freddyo please let them know I love them and how much it means to me that they would take time to come to my school” she also said “this is my number please pass this to Q, I will be 18 next month”…. LOL SAD

Yeah Oprah is PISSED!!!! 

don’t know if ya’ll remember this but two years dorm matron Virginia Tiny Makgobo, 27. She was charged with assault and soliciting a minor among other things at Oprah’s Leadership Academy for girls. Unfortunately, a similar scandal has once again plagued the South Africa, boarding school.

Winfrey’s publicist, Lisa Halliday, has only confirmed that two girls have been suspended “because they contravened the school’s code of conduct.” Details are few as she also stated, “we regard this incident as confidential.”

 The Afrikaans on Sunday  local newspaper reported that seven students were suspended for sexually harassing their schoolmates. A couple of them were caught fondling each other and pressuring others to engage in lesbian acts. One particular 15-year old student is said to have forced the other girls to lie to authorities about the incidents.

This student’s parents received a letter from the school that read, “You have been found guilty of physical contact of a sexual nature with another pupil on campus, harassment, bullying other girls on campus, and of being dishonest by not telling investigators the whole truth.”

It seems so far that this situation only involved students, but in either case this is yet another blow to the image of the boarding school.

During a concert Sunday at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., T-Pain confirmed reports that he lost several teeth and suffered cuts and bruises when a backstage golf cart he was riding in flipped over and caused him to be hospitalized.

      “That’s f***ing true,” Pain told his audience, according to Rap-Up.com. “It did happen like three days ago. My ass is on fire right now. My side hurt, my mouth hurt. I bust my ass. I’d show you the marks, but I don’t wanna pull my pants down right now.”

      According to reports, the artist lost four teeth in the accident, which required emergency dental surgery and caused him to miss the Friday stop of Lil Wayne’s I Am Music tour in San Jose, California.

       “I got my teeth fixed the same day. Rich n***a teeth,” he told the crowd Sunday

Halle Berry says she’s mentally prepared to take on some more children, but not as many as the Octomom, Nadya Suleman.     

       During an appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” Monday, Berry confirmed that she wants another child, but says she would stop way before it reached double digits.

       “I hope I don’t have like 14 more,” quips Berry, who is mom to 1-year-old Nahla Ariela.       

       Still, the Oscar winner isn’t ruling out that a brother or sister could be in the future for her daughter with model Gabriel Aubry. “My mind says yes,” she tells DeGeneres, “but the rest isn’t up to me so we’ll see.”

Tiffany “New York” Pollard, introduced to VH1 viewers several years ago as a contestant on dating show “Flavor of Love,” will begin her fourth reality series for the network in May.

      “New York Goes to Work,” bowing May 4 at 10 p.m., will feature Pollard employed in various odd jobs that were suggested by text-messaging viewers, including a sewer worker, a mortuary beautician and a fast-food employee.

       If she succeeds and pleases her employers, she’ll be rewarded with a $5,000 bonus each week.

       The series is created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Endemol’s 51 Minds Entertainment. In addition to “Flavor of Love,” Cronin and Abrego also oversaw Pollard’s other previous VH1 efforts, “I Love New York” and “New York Goes to Hollywood.”
