OMG!!!!!  3000 a.k.a Andre’ 3000from the rap group Outkast ..just in case you didn’t know who he was– was arrested right here in ATL over the weekend after he was caught speeding for doing 109 mph in 65 mph zone.

He was taken to the Henry County Jail where he was fingerprinted, took a mugshot, posted $1,200 bail and was eventually released.

Over the weekend I got the chance to go to the Hawks game, it was my first game of the year. I got to sit court side and see all the action from my floor seat. I have to say, that I had the time of my life. I met some really big movers and shakers at the game.  Four of my favorite people where at the game, Rocko and fiance’e Monica who took their son Lil Rock aa well as Polo Da Don. Monica  who was the co-host for the game along with my boy Ryan Camron rocked the Mic and I have to say she might really need to look into getting her own radio show. The Hawks beat the Lakers 86-76. I would have taken more pics of the players but the Po Po Shut me down… LOL

Former Destiny’s Child co-star Kelly Rowland has reportedly been dropped by her record label, just two months after firing her manager, former bandmate Beyonce Knowles’ dad Matthew Knowles. Despite the fact her first two solo albums sold more than four million copies, British tabloid News of The World reports the Dilemma singer has been dumped by bosses at Columbia, because they fear she is “no longer commercially viable”. OUCH!

As expected, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not attend the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. Brown, a nominee for favorite male singer and favorite song for “Kiss Kiss,” pulled his name from the ballot after he was arrested Feb. 8 for allegedly assaulting Rihanna.     

  Rihanna, a fellow Kids’ Choice nominee for favorite female singer and favorite song for “Don’t Stop the Music,” was also a no show. She lost in both of her categories, to Miley Cyrus and Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” respectively. [See full list of winners below.]      

      “For them not to be here is very sad. I was looking forward to seeing them here,” rapper Soulja Boy, who is a friend of both pop stars, told the Associated Press from the orange carpet. “Right now, it’s a sad situation. And it’s very touchy. I’m just …. it just shocked me when it happened.”

       Soulja Boy said he’s spoken with Brown over the phone and that the 19-year-old R&B singer is “doing OK. Yeah, right now, it’s a delicate time,” he added. “You know, the court date is coming up. I hope that they both get through it in a positive way.”      

Brown faces felony charges of assault and making criminal threats. He is scheduled to be arraigned April 6.

Incarcerated NFL star Michael Vick is looking to make some quick cash by writing a book that would likely detail his road from poverty to becoming the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.      

       According to the New York Daily News, the former Atlanta Falcons player – currently serving 23 months for financing a dog-fighting ring – reportedly has literary agent Scott Waxman shopping a proposal for a memoir. Needless to say, the idea doesn’t sit well with the folks at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.      

       “What will he call his book, ‘Vick: One Lucky Dog’?” PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk asks the Daily News. “If Vick has started writing this book while in jail, the proceeds should fall under the rule that says a felon can’t profit from his murderous deeds.”      

       Vick, who is now in bankruptcy proceedings, may also use the book to express shame regarding his dog-fighting enterprise, as he has been told by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell that his chances of playing football again depend on whether he demonstrates sufficient remorse.       

       Still, Newkirk argues, “Shame and contrition mean keeping a low profile and letting time tell that you’ve reformed, not angling for … a return to stardom and a book deal.”

Damon Dash said he was so caught up in making sure the people around him were succeeding that he took his eye off the ball regarding his own financial well-being.

       The one-time rap mogul has been making headlines with his money struggles in recent months; he is facing foreclosure on his two properties in the trendy TriBeCa area of New York and reportedly owes $2 million in state taxes, among other debts.       

       His designer wife of four years, Rachel Roy, filed for divorce earlier this month after Dash helped her launch her own women’s fashion line. Dash now says part of his financial predicament is related to helping the likes of Roy and rapper pal Jim Jones – and not spending enough time on his own projects.       

       He tells Billboard.com, “My mistake was watching everyone else’s careers and not watching mine.”       

       He adds, “After being able to settle my wife’s company, I was able to start doing other things. My first approach was the music business and getting with Jim Jones… I spent the last six months doing research, trying to figure out how to use all my resources to blow this out.”

Jordin Sparks who at one time was pretty cool with Chris Brown is putting the brakes on rumors that she and Chris Brown will be doing another song together. According to MTV.com, the former “American Idol” winner noted that she had recently got a song that Chris wrote, and she was considering recording it for her upcoming album. But Sparks added, quote, “I’m not sure if I’m going to get to it yet. I haven’t recorded it yet, so we’ll see.” I am also told by a source in her camp that Jordin was very upset by the fight that took place with him and RiRi after looking at the pictures. The source told me “she does not look at him in the same light, in some ways.” Sparks and Brown teamed up for the 2008 hit “No Air.” The song picked up a Grammy nomination, and earned the two singers trophies at the Teen Choice Awards, BET Awards, and People’s Choice Awards.

I love me some tea but after reading this I don’t think I will be drinking anything hot…. Fox is reporting “Drinking hot tea may cause throat cancer, Iranian researchers said Friday, suggesting people should let steaming drinks cool before consuming them.

Previous studies have linked tobacco and alcohol with cancer of the esophagus, and the research published in the British Medical Journal suggests that scalding beverages may also somehow pave the way for such tumors.
