Maxwell Says He’s Back?… We Hope

Ok I have to say that back in the day Maxwell use to bring it. Well he now wants everyone to know that he’s back. My girl over at Straightfromthea.com check out her site, found an interview where  he tells what he has been up too and why he took such a long leave of absence. I really hope he don’t take his music to stage left like most aritist, I like that laid back chill music… Yall feel me!!! Here is what they said:

Columbia Records held a celebration last night to announce Maxwell’s long-awaited new album “BLACK Summers’night.” The highly anticipated trilogy will consist of three separate discs to be released over the course of three years starting this year. The first disc is scheduled to drop July 7th. After a 7 year hiatus, Maxwell is now 35 years old, he’s seasoned and he’s cut his signature locks, but his silky sexy voice remains the same.
