MJ Kids Love Rolling Out Magazine

MJ brought the whole family out to go shopping in LA, the other day. Ok so I have to give them their credits, the pass three years “Rolling Out Magazine,” has really stepped up their game for being a major media mogul. There is no city that I have been to yet where I could not find a copy of the news paper, and now after seeing pictures of MJ’s kids Paris, Prince and Blanket with a copy of the mag, have to say, “you can’t get more exposure than that”. OK  now back to the kids, I love me some white people but I have to say there is no way in hell that these are MJ’s kids. The kids hair is straight as hell and  skin too light to be his. Please remember that Jackson wasn’t a light black boy, he was brown. Last but not least, please tell me why, him and his children are always walking around town with mask on, there’s something not right?

I have to say that I love women with high self esteems, but I can’t say that I am a fan of the “Ventura” which is what they call Cassie new hair style. Here are pics of a beautiful young women that decided to also chop off her hair. A girl told me that, “This new hair style “The Ventura” is so freeing, people want to look and say something but are too afraid”. I hope she doesn’t meet the wrong one, who don’t mind saying what they are thinking in the head. I have to say that some people are really mean, a women came to me and pointed out the young lady in the club saying, ” Freddy why this girl do this to her head, at-least Cassie got good hair, this girl didn’t realize she got curls, and that’s not even her hair. I told the lady don’t be a hater she is doing her, but I have to say that the young women is a rapper and actually was really good but no one paid attention to her just her head, her hair took all the attention…. LOL Here are some pics…

Spike Lee to replace Kobe in new film?

Tuesday April 28th 2009

Kobe Bryant reportedly tried one of his famous head fakes on Spike Lee, right before the filmmaker began rolling on “Kobe: Doin’ Work,” a day-in-the-life documentary about the player’s lifestyle.

Once Lee and his film crew were ready to begin shooting, the Los Angeles Lakers star demanded to have creative control over the documentary, forcing the director to drive to his house to beg for a meeting to save the project, claims the New York Post’s Page Six.

Spike Lee’s rep denies the story, calling it “completely baseless.”

       The column reported Monday:

Lee had worked for months to get permission from Bryant, the Lakers team, coach Phil Jackson, the NBA and ESPN, which will air the day-in-the-life documentary on May 16. The director had already flown to Los Angeles, where 30 cameras were in place for the April 13, 2008, Lakers game against the San Antonio Spurs.

But suddenly Bryant said he wouldn’t cooperate unless he was granted creative control, sources said. Lee tried several times to call Bryant, who wouldn’t accept his calls. So Lee, at the suggestion of ESPN broadcaster Stephen A. Smith, drove to Bryant’s house in a gated community, where Bryant refused to see him, sources said.

“It went so far that Lee had a last-minute plan to substitute Spurs star Tim Duncan for Kobe and make the whole documentary about Duncan,” said our source. But Kobe and Spike somehow worked it out, and Lee is being a good soldier promoting the Kobe picture, which screened Saturday night at the Tribeca Film Festival.

“Spike Lee completely yielded,” said one insider. “And at the start of the film, when Kobe arrives at the Staples Center and sees Spike with the camera, he gives him a big smile and thumbs up, showing he knows he won the battle.”

Former Hoop Star Jayson Williams Gets Tasered By The Popo!

Former NBA star Jayson Williams was tasered by police in his posh hotel suite Monday after the reportedly suicidal ex-NBA star resisted their attempts to take him to a hospital.

According to the Associated Press, police were called to the hotel in lower Manhattan’s Battery Park City around 4 a.m. when a female friend reported the former New Jersey Nets player was acting suicidal. When officers arrived, the 6-foot-10, 325-pound Williams appeared drunk and agitated, police said. There were empty bottles of prescription drugs strewn around his disheveled hotel suite and several suicide notes.

Officers with the Emergency Services Unit, an elite team trained to deal with emotionally disturbed people, responded and stunned Williams with a Taser after he resisted attempts to be hospitalized. Both Williams’ manager and lawyer immediately downplayed the incident to various media outlets on Monday.

“Jayson is doing fine. He said he was fine,” Williams’ manager Akhtar Farzaie told the New York Daily News. “All of us are here to be by his side as friends.”   Williams’ lawyer, Joe Hayden, told TMZ.com that he “has no knowledge of a suicide attempt or [of Williams] being suicidal.” He also told the Web site that Williams was at St. Vincent’s Hospital for a “medical condition.”

TMZ also cites unnamed sources who say Williams was still under evaluation at press time Monday and was expected to stay in the hospital overnight for observation. The 41-year-old former NBA All-Star, who played nine seasons with the Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers before retiring in 2000. He was convicted in 2004 of trying to cover up the shooting death of his hired driver Costas “Gus” Christofi at his mansion in Alexandria Township, N.J., in February 2002. He was acquitted of aggravated manslaughter, but the jury deadlocked on a reckless manslaughter count. A retrial is pending and he has been free on bail since the shooting. Williams’ wife filed divorce papers this year claiming he was abusive, adulterous and had a drug problem. Proceedings continue.

Each week I am trying to bring you things that you really need to know about on a day to day basis, so here are to somethings I think you might find important….

Drinking at least one glass of low sodium vegetable juice every day may help overweight dieters lose more weight. In a study, adults who drank at least 8 ounces of vegetable juice as part of a calorie-controlled heart-healthy diet lost 4 pounds over 12 weeks, while those who followed the same diet but did not drink the veggie juice lost only 1 pound.

It’s possible, study investigator Dr. Carl L. Keen told Reuters Health, that vegetable juice helps reduce a person’s appetite. “There is also a long-term belief that a high fruit and vegetable diet is associated with lower body weight,” added Keen, who is with the University of California, Davis. Greg Street does “PowerFest” in Augusta, GA, & Ray J Has Beef

Monday April 27th 2009

One Comment

Greg Street headed east to join forces with Augusta, Ga’s #1 station Power 107 to present “PowerFest”!  Augusta’s finest came out to see Ray J, Pleasure P, Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe, Marques Houston and more hit the stage! I have give a big shot out to my Power 107 family who showed me so much love and my girl Miss Monique and Fats the PD, check out Miss Monique blog for all the gossip click here. Ray J also served as the host and did a great job keeping the crowd entertained, well thats after he came out of his trailer.

Apparently Ray J was not cool with Marques Houston being there and refused to come out of his trailer until he had performed and left the premises!  Sooooo me being the snooper that I am, I got a lil scoop that the R&B beef stemmed from an incident in L.A. earlier this year.  So you can imagine when I tried to get them to take a picture together both of their responses was, “Never Happen”.  After the drama the show went off without a hitch!  Power 107 did a great job of keeping the acts moving back to back with no waiting…There was another secret beef between some rappers I thought were a part of the same family but more on that later…(clearing my throat)

Check out the Pics Here

Ray J I was told got him some in his trailer at the concert, which makes since now cause when I tried to get an interview it was like he talked about how healthily he was, and his stamina AKA (wee wee) you tell me…
