T.I. Scheduled To Begin 366-Day Prison Sentence Today
T.I.’s time behind bars on federal gun charges is scheduled to begin today. This picture was taken after he got of stage at his goodbye concert in the ATL, I will be posting all the pictures in a few from the concert. The Tip was sentenced to 366 days in prison back in March, and was ordered to serve time in Arkansas’ Forrest City Correctional Institute. The case stems from an October 2007 arrest. T.I. was taken into custody in Atlanta just hours before he was scheduled to appear at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, when he attempted to buy machine guns and silencers from an undercover agent. The rapper pleaded guilty to the charges in March 2008. As part of a plea deal, he was promised the one-year-one-day sentence in exchange for serving one-thousand hours of community service within a year. T.I. faced a maximum of ten years behind bars in the matter. T.I. held a “farewell” concert Sunday night in Atlanta. He asked the crowd to, quote, “pray for me” while he’s serving his sentence. The rapper recently lost an appeal to delay his scheduled prison-reporting date, which was filed by his attorney in an attempt to have T.I. moved from the Arkansas prison to a minimum-security camp. T.I.’s lawyer says he will continue to fight for the move once the rapper is behind bars.

I really like T.I. I am glad to see him take responsibility for his actions and make stepd towards making things right. He is a real stand up dude. He is an example for others on what not to do, but if you do, here’s what you have to do now. If you follow me.
