Brandy Settles Lawsuit After Fatal Car Accident
Brandy will be shelling out some money over a December 2006 car accident. The singer, whose full name is Brandy Norwood, settled with the two children of the woman who was killed when Brandy’s car struck hers on a Los Angeles freeway. In Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, the singer agreed to pay each child 300-thousand-dollars as compensation for the loss of their mother. The victim’s husband’s still has a lawsuit pending after he rejected a one-point-two-million-dollar settlement in February. Brandy was not charged in the matter, after Los Angeles police determined there wasn’t enough evidence to suggest vehicular manslaughter. Brandy said in a previous interview, quote, “It was a situation that changed my life forever.”

Wow, the kids took that little bit of money for their mother’s death. Any amount would never bring her back, but that seems like a little drop in the bucket to me. But again, it was an accident. There really won’t be a big winner in this situation no matter what happens.
