Kanye’s mother was Dr. Donda West, a Chicago educator who died in November 2007, following complications from cosmetic surgery. The two formed the Kanye West Foundation, aimed at reducing the school dropout rate. Kanye later changed the name to the Dr. Donda West Foundation in honor of his late mother.

That’s great. Kanye is doing something to help keep these babies in school. It’s ashamed that the dropout rate in every state in America has gotten so bad. We are so behind other countries kids when it comes to education.
