Sheree Loses Home + Children & Things Put Out Into The Streets

I have to tell y’all that these last few weekends were crazy in the ATL! I got a few calls from one of my good friends telling me that Sheree Whitfield’s home had been foreclosed on and she and her kids had less than a week to vacate the property!!! I have to say that I was like “what!!!” I then called Sheree and asked her what happened, she told me, as she almost broke down, that she had no idea the house was being foreclosed on because there was a court order for her ex to maintain the household until the final judgment was in effect. I heard most of her things had been stolen by the woman she hired and her husband (Sheila and Michael Rashad) whom she later found out were world class scam artists. People BEWARE, folks are hungry and are willing to go at any length to use or abuse. This sh*t is a GOOD cause for an *ss whoopin!!!!!

She said:
Bob was under court order to maintain ALL household expenses. He failed to do so. Nor did he offer to pay the child support that he had not payed going on almost two years. I met Sheila Rashad through Bobs mom. (seem like at set too me) and we began to occasionally communicate regarding business around Oct 2008. I then received foreclosure notice (last wk in Dec) saying that my house would begin foreclosure on the date of Feb 3rd. All this happened the week after Bob and I went into mediation in which he tried to renegotiate my settlement from the judge and offer me cash from the sell of the house that he knew he was losing because of nonpayment of the mortgage.

Sheila Rashad offered to help saying this is what she does for some of her clients and could help facilitate things and allow us to remain in the house for at least six months as long as I continued to maintain the property, paid a set amount and make the property available for agents to show. Sheila had me sign a fictitious form stating that I give her rights to communicate with the mortgage company. She continuously lied and said she had been communicating with the mortgage company and she had everything under control.

She called and said that the bank decided against my favor. And my kids and I needed to vacate the premises on March 6th instead of March 7th with all of my things in less than six days. It was impossible to clear out a 10,000 sq foot house in this amount of time. I moved what I could and left on March 5th. On March 6th I sent people to meet Sheila with the keys to the house, because she said that she was meeting the realtor and the sheriff. She instructed my people not to remove anything else from the house. My people then left

The next day I happened to ride by the property and seen a Penske moving truck in the driveway. I then got nervous and called a few friends who immediately ordered that I pull into the driveway to see what was going on. Upon pulling up behind the truck I noticed kids playing with toys I had left behind. I then seen the Mexican workers loading the truck, along with Sheila Rashad and her husband. I approached her and she began to say that I was trespassing and the sheriff was on the way and I needed to leave the premises. I left and called my friends and within fifteen mins we were back at the house. Sheila put the lock back on the gate but apparently she was very nervous because she left all the doors open including the garages.

We went into the house and seen that she had stolen dishwashers, the oven, built in microwaves, warmer, cabinets, bathroom sinks, my built in closets, furniture, fixtures, electronics, workout equipment, and clothes. ALMOST EVERYTHING. The four of us are there in disbelief. We took a few pictures and I got on the line and called the police. Sheila and her husband came back with the carpenter (See Pics) and she continued to stick with her story that the people were behind them and we needed to leave. She knew that I wasn’t hearing it so she left.

The police came and I filed a police report. The witnesses were there and gave there statements as well. The officer had me call her on my phone. He told her she should return to give her statement because I was accusing her of theft. She refused. “I like to believe in the best of people. I don’t want to believe that people can look you and your kids in the eye and smile and yet be so devious, conniving, and greedy to the point where they would do anything for a dollar. I am blessed to have God on my side who gives me my strength to carry on.”

    Hi Freddy! I have really enjoyed your site for the last couple of months, (great job with the upgrade!)But I would be able to enjoy it a lot more if you would please check for grammar and usage errors before posting your stories, it can be very distracting at times. I am offering this as constructive criticism, and my words do not have a malice intent! I LOVE this site more than that “other” atlanta based site.

    Send her ass to the PEN!!!! She looks like she will be quite comfortable there. To actually be around someone smiling then go and do some triflin ish like this, Sheila needs a man whooping!!!! She needs to be f’ed up, badly. It’s a shame how cruel and cold some people can be. Aside from Sheree and Bob, that cold hearted bish put those kids OUT!!!! Couldn’t have been me, I would be in jail.

    This story makes no sense. What exactly was this woman hired to do? There is no way that Sheree wasn’t aware of the eviction date. They would have served her at the door. Proper service is very important in situations like this. The sheriff would not have proceeded with the eviction otherwise.

    Why didn’t she hire movers? Why is this just coming out now? Sheree moved out more than 3 months ago. What was the outcome of this whole thing? Did she ever get her things back?

    I wonder where Sheree is living now…

    As far as I’m concerned, if she left belongings and gave the keys to the realtor/sheriff,, she waived any claim to anything left inside the house. Sheree also seems to have this air of self-importance that is biting her in the ass, repeatedly. She keeps talking about her entourage and “her people” who were handling her private business. She needs to take care of her own business.

    I agree with Jennifer. There is something more to this story. However, I do agree this woman Sheila needs to be locked up. But I am suprised at Sheree’s judgment call on this one. As smart as I thought Sheree was, I would have never signed any rights to my home over to anyone without a lawyer present to review the documents. That was not very smart on her end.

    Sheree is pulling that same, I’m so stupid, I’m not educated, she was educated enough to put the blame on someone else for the same light fixtures and appliances that she has in her new house. I just saw the same light fixtures in her house. So how did someone else steal them. Sheree is so full of herself, If that women stole from Sheree the Sandy Spring Police would have her under the jail.     What does the new house look like? How big is it? Are there any new photos? Did the “missing” furniture that was supposedly worth $200K ever turn up?

    Sorry to ask so many questions, I just can’t peel my eyes away from this epic trainwreck.It’s my favorite guilty pleasure. NeNe’s got nothing on this narcissistic, self-important broad.

    Techninally Sheila did not steal from Sheree. The as of Feb 3rd, the house belonged to the mortgage company so the missing appliances and fixtures belonged to them not sheree. Unless they press charges Sheila will not go to jail for this.

    Where is the police report Freddyo? I doubt Sheree would file a false police report or that witnesses would list their names. That woman Sheila and her husband should rot in jail. People are desperate and will stab people in the back in a heartbeat.
