Ryan Camron Father Daughter Dance 2009

Ryan Cameron, who is a radio personality at V-103, hosted his annual father-daughter dance on Father’s Day. Ryan loves to celebrate the special bond fathers and himself have with their daughters. The Father Daughter dance, which started six years ago with 400 attendees, has now grown to over 750 attendees.
Ryan has added a second dance floor this year in the Marriott’s biggest ballroom. “We didn’t want people dancing over their dessert. We’re outgrowing places. It’s amazing. Even with this economy, to have sold out a month in advance just shows what’s going on.”
His two lovely daughters,Kai and Ryan Megan, join him every year. This year, to support local businesses in Atlanta, Ryan and his daughters bought their vintage dresses at a local dress shop along with his matching tux and bow tie. “It’s going to be something out of Walt Disney World,” he said.
The age range of the daughters that were in attendance varied from four year olds to in the late forties, he said.
The theme song of this special night was “Dance With Your Father” by Luther Vandross. “A lot of guys have never danced with their daughters,” he said. “This event should be sponsored by Kleenex because I watched grown men cry.”
Here’s the summary of what his foundation does off his website:
The Ryan Cameron Foundation (RCF) was established to provide Atlanta’s youth with the tools needed to empower them for their future leadership roles. The Foundation strives to provide young people with a forum, which includes: mentoring, tutoring, volunteering, celebrity appearances, life experiences, self-reflection, leadership instruction and personal coaching.

That night means so much to those little girls. It will go along way in their future relationship with men too. Great job.

I agree, great job. I know those men are proud of their girls, and vice versa. I like to see men taking care of their responsibilities and celebrating their hard work. They deserve it.
