Jay-Z is starting to show his cheap side. Jay is being sued because of money that is said to be owed to  his club employees. I have to say that if I had millions of dollars, and was a superstar, I would have just gave them what ever they wanted to keep the public from knowing. I would have  just wrote the money off on my taxes. “Hova” is  about to be looking for a new attorney also.

“Hov’s” lawyer, Michael DiMattia, has asked to be withdrawn from the rapper’s federal lawsuit because Jay has failed to pay his firm for their services. DiMattia recently wrote a letter to Manhattan Federal Court Judge Loretta Preska, who is presiding over the case, and asked that he be removed from the case. Jay-Z is being sued by employees of his 40/40 nightclub who say they were denied hourly wages and paid only with tips. In July 2008, a judge ruled that club owners violated New York labor laws after reviewing the earning reports for certain employees.
Should the 40/40 club lose the lawsuit, some 400 employees could be eligible to collect money. Rex Burch, who represents the club’s employees, discussed the suit saying, quote, “It’s astounding. For rap’s biggest mogul, you’d think this amount of money would be chump change.”
