Antonia ” Toya” Carter Is Pissed!!!
Today I got a call from one of Atlanta Top publicist, asking me to post a statment from Antonia ” Toya” Carter, who is very upset about what took place at the BET awards, this is what she said:
I Antonia ” Toya” Carter have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single “Every Girl”. I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed. Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.

why did she just now post a comment and the awards was june 28. she should have said something then. Plus her statement dosen’t add up with the other one sayoin that wayne didn’ even no she was on the stage.

No one really cares what goes on with Toya! I mean really first shes riding Lil Waynes coat Tail now its Tiny. She really does not have her own sense of direction. She says she is trying to break a cycle…. I cant tell when shes trying to make her beautiful little girl be a rapper like her daddy. smh.

No one has issues with the under age girls that were allowed on stage. The issue is with the parents who allowed the under age girls to perform on stage. In a few days, no one will even remember what those little girls looked like but they will remember this performance by Wayne and its poor taste. And on another note, lets be straight up, this was planned. By who?, it doesn’t matter. Yes we think Toya is a sweet person and Wayne could be one the best father’s in the world but they have to be responsible enough to know where to draw the line with allowing their kids to particapate in certain events regardless if its with a parent. So take this one as a leason to be learned from a keep it moving. No one needs to be reminded of this event.

I dont think it should have been blowed up like that. Honestly when people saw the BET awards I dont think people made a big deal about it at first. When uu think about, it was most likely just to make his daughter happy, and nuthing else… It shouldn’t have been to that song though — but it wasn’t like they were trying to make their daughter look like a FUTURE HOE. So this whole situation is just blown way out of preportion,, an I luvv the show-and toya. KEEP YA HEAD UP-LET DESE HATAZ DO DERR JOB.
