AJ Jewell Kandi’s Ex-Fiance Killed At His Club
I received the sad news late last night from a friend that my homie AJ died… I was at a loss for words because I was just thinking about texting him to tell him was everything going good. Ashley “AJ” Jewell, had six kids and my heart goes out to them and his family. His ex-fiance Kandi Burruss, who just got custody of 2 of his daughters, is not doing OK, she went to her twitter page to tell how she felt but has had rough week since she also lost one of her favorite uncles recently.
“I’m just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.”
“ I could never n a million years imagine this happening. please pray for AJ’s children. that’s who im the most concerned 4.”
I was told AJ died on the way to the hospital after getting into a brawl at the strip club he owns in Atlanta called “The Body Tap.” Aj had been very upset about the way he was portrayed on the Atlanta Housewives show and wanted people to know that “he is, and was not a dead beat, he always took care of his family”.
Kandi you know I got you with whatever you need..
People at the club are keeping quiet and have not revealed what actually happened but I will keep you posted on any new developments.

What I dont understand is how come Kandi has custody of HIS two kids? Where is THEIR mother? grandmother? next of kin?

Not be rude or anything, Adra berry u are the perfect example of some one who’s worried about the wrong freakin thing. Khandi is really going thru something rough right now and all u can say is you cant understand why she has custody of his two kids, It really doesnt matter why as long as they’re not out on the streets or being abused. What u need to do is show her the respect that she deserves and send ur sympthy and thoughts to their family and keep them in ur prayers. People need to stop worring about the small petty things and look at the good that comes from the big picture, Khandi, keep ur head up sweetie and hang in there. I know its hard but i can see that ur a strong woman and i know that with god by ur side u r gonna get thru this. I will keep you and aj’s family in my prayers. God bless u!

that is so true at Atlanta next top model ppl do worry about the wrong things i really wasn’t a fan of her but i do have sympathy for her and that has to be hard on her and dealing with that and i wish her the best and god bless R.I.P AJ

Dear Adra and Solo B…i recently found out the answer to ur concerns. The mother and next of kins of AJ’s biological kids are here on earth grieving and praying for support during this unexpected incident.
Unfortunately for u guys, they wish to be out of the spotlight at this time because SOCIETY likes to get all up in ppl face flashing camers and asking random dumb questions.
The mother and next of kins appreciate ur concerns, but ask if u would allow them to prepare the proper procedures for one of GOD’s children.

My heart goes out to A.J.’s kids and also to Kandi and her daughter. Kandi has a very big heart and her and A.J had joint custody of his twin daughters and they are stable with her. That’s what they (children) need

This is so sad. May God bless both the Burress & Jewell families. I have to agree with the previous responses. Why did Kandi have custody of her ex-fiance’s kids. I read that AJ’s mother previously had custody but said that she could no longer handle it anymore. If their mother was not able to keep her own kids then their Dad (AJ) should have had custody, not his ex-fiance. There’s some real DRAMA going on here! May God bless ALL 6 of his kids and ALL 4 of their mama’s… and Kandi.

Honestly, Why does it matter who has those babies. If Aj had them, if Khandi had them that really doesnt matter. It’s really none of anyones business why she has them. I wish people would let celebritys have a life because they are human too. I’m sorry to the Burress and Jewell family because once I heard this story I quickly judged AJ not knowing he was the owner of the strip club. Anywho!!! God Bless all people that AJ has made any type of impact on. Just know GOD is ABLE to heal you even in this situation where you feel like there is no way out.

Burruss told Essence.com in an interview last month that she was caring for Jewell’s 12-year-old twin daughters.
“He would have taken them with him, but they needed a strong female role model and wanted to stay with me,” she said.

I do pray for the kids, and for Kandi to make it thru this. But like the first person who wrote I wanna know what’s going on with the parents of these children… why because Kandi already has a child that doesn’t have her father… its not her responsibilty to care for the kids of a guy she just got cool with.. And yea I can speak on the subject simply because I’ve been thru this kind of stuff and have come to realize children go back to their mothers..
I can’t tell Kandi who to love cause she obviously thinks this is a good idea, I would say watch the family, watch the people you have around you and comb thru the damn crazy ones…
