Women Of Hip Hop, Julia Beverly, Jasmin Franjul, Aiyisha Obafami, Hannah Kang

The other night I had the pleasure of being a part of a great event recognizing the behind the scenes women that make Hip Hop happen.  Myself, The V Firm PR and Simon Gidewon all honored some really great and sucessful women.  Jasmin Franjul- Director of Talent for RUSH Communications and Global Grind, Julia Beverly- Publisher of Ozone Magazine, Hannah Kang- GM of Grand Hustle and Aiyisha Obafami- COO of DTP.  Also in attendance was Chaka Zulu and Ludacris celebrating the women and especially Chaka’s sister Aiyisha. Let me say the DTP family really does show love for their people and I have so much respect for Luda and all of the DTP  for coming out and supporting Aiyisha… 

Everyone enjoyed cocktails from Nuvo and Belvedere 1X, cupcakes from Cami Cakes and special treatments from Minx Nails and LAMIK Beauty presented by Vainstyle.com. One of the top MINX Masters Athena Elliot made a special trip into town to present the ladies with a gift from MINX Corporate. They will be able to design their own MINX to be offered nationwide. The only people given this honor have been Beyonce and Keri Hilson.

It was great to recognize these women who are the real stars at their company, the faces you often don’t get to see but know that they can make multi-platinum stars. Shout out to my girl Rochelle Brown at The V Firm PR for always doing something special and out of the box
