What Did You Think About Monica’s New Show “Still Standing” ?
Yesterday was a big day for my big sis she did “106 & Park” to promote her new show still standing. The premiere of Monica’s new reality show aired last night immediately following the BET Hip Hop Awards and we are so glad to see that it was drama free. This first episode brought us into her life and captured her in her element working with producer Bryan-Michael Cox to choose the perfect single to kick off her upcoming album.
Viewers can look forward to seeing Monica balance her family life along with recording her fifth studio album not to mention raising those two adorable little boys of hers. She plans to show that even through the most difficult times hard work, faith and perseverance can carry you through anything. The chart topping R&B recording artist hesitated at first to allow such an up close and personal look into her life but decided that her story could be used to inspire those who tuned in.
“It was very scary stepping into the type of situation that would expose me and my life,” said Monica. “But I think that there are so many kids now that are aspiring to do exactly what I’ve done and I felt like that was worth me putting myself on the line so they would really understand what it’s like to try and juggle both a music career and personal life.”
Can’t wait to see what’s in store! I’m so happy to finally see a positive light being shined on the black community. Tune in to BET every Tuesday at 10/9c to watch Monica: Still Standing. I have to say that I am kinda pissed after finding out that Mo will only have 10 songs on her album… so please send that label notes letting them know that we need more songs …

I loved it …it showed briefly how Monica has never stopped touring and her fans are still in love with her. Monica’s doing fine financially , professionally, and spiritually. Her record company still believes in her and she is really taking her time to make an awesome album for her fans. It was refreshing break from the other crap that BET dares to call entertainment.

it was so real and great, i keep on watching the show, cuase it’s a good way to know her more and i love everything coming from Monica!. She’s soooo talent.

I Loved the show . I have always been a fan of Monica . I am drawn to her for her courage and strenght. She is a relly down to earth person that has not let fame stray her from GOD first and formost. She is a wonder entertainer , mother and soon to be wife. I love the way that she talks with so much wisdom in knowing that what ever GOD has for you, is for you and that we all go through ups and downs in order to get to were GOD wants us to be. The whole game of life is to live, love and let live. GOD loves us all. Thank you Monica for being who you are and keep spreading possative entergy. GOD BLESS!!!!!!

The show was good. It just took me a minute to get adjusted to it. Because I’m so use to people screaming and arguing over stupid stuff on these reality shows. Looking forward to next week.

owww, mo looks great…LOVED the show! i think its a great look for her as well as BET for putin out a show with such positive energy. and showing young ppl that love, family, and ur relationship with God should all be important. what is there to hate???ppl can say what they wanna but at the end of the mo will come out Still Standing… HOLLA

I love Monica!!! I think her and Mary J. Blige is so spiritual and REAL!!! Her show really showed me that she is truly and wonderful and awesomw person!!! I’ve always been a big fan of Monica’s music! The show really opened up how hard she works everyday!!
