Word on the street is that BET just cancelled The Mo’nique Show. The highly successful show, hosted by Monica Imes AKA Mo’Nique, would have started its third season this fall. The break reportedly stems from personality disputes between Mo’Nique and some of her higher ups. Read More »

It’s the wee hours of the morning and I guess even celebs get that “feeling”. Actor Idris Elba twit pic’ed this photo less than an hour ago on twitter. I’m not sure if he intended to send this picture to twitter judging by his next tweet that stated:
Maybe the picture was supposed to serve as a late night special to his boo. Regardless, fans have the picture now and the ladies have been going crazy over this pic! I wonder if he’s going to try to say that someone “hacked” into his account. What do you think of the photo? Do you think he meant to send it to twitter?
This evening BET aired the final episode of my girl Toya’s show Toya: A Family Affair. Fans got to watch Toya and Memphiz say “I Do” from the comfort of their home. The wedding resembled every bit of a fairy tale even though not all members of her family (particularly her brothers with the exception of Rudy) were able to attend. While not all of her family made it out we did see celebs take part in the wedding such as Tiny and Monica. Parts of the wedding that I’m sure gave all the ladies out here a chance at real love is when Memphitz was seen tearing up at the wedding when he saw Toya. Stuff like that makes us all believe that we have a shot at true love. The reception looked to be a super fun party too. If you watched carefully, it looked like guests were doing the new line dance Wobble. Viewers of the show were all over twitter showing their love and congrats to the couple.
In other news about Toya, we all saw how hard she worked on the opening of her store during her show. Well now we have some good news for fans! She is going to have her Garb Boutique on the internet very soon!!! This will be great because I know that there are a ton of fans out there who want to shop at her store but are unable to make it down to New Orleans. Toya is also working on another big project but I won’t be able to release the details about it just yet. What were your opinions on the final episode of the show? Did you like the wedding?
“Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much,” ended the eulogy read by Mitch Winehouse at the funeral service for the late Amy Winehouse Tuesday. A private service for the songstress took place in North London, and was attended by family and friends, including Kelly Osbourne. The body of the singer was cremated following the ceremony.
Winehouse’s father told mourners that Amy had given up alcohol and had been abstinent for 3 weeks when was found dead. Her father also announced that he will set up a foundation in honor of Amy to assist recovering addicts.
The coroner’s office still haven’t found her cause of death…What do you think it could be?
I guess Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Otis is about to be the new song that everyone remixes. We told you the other day about Game remixing the song and making it into a diss track, this time Styles P and Jadakiss remix the song. The two lyricists show that they still have it without taking any cheap shots at anybody on the track. Take a listen here:
Rihanna has been named Vogue Italia’s ‘”Woman Of The Year” which will be the featured in the September issue. It’s not her red hair or her fashionable ways that got her the title either. The magazine named her woman of the year because of “her ability to face down adversity and personal hardship, including her troubled relationships with former boyfriend Chris Brown and her drug-addicted father, whom she fired as her manager this year after he made up stories and provided private family photos to tabloids”. Oh. Well isn’t that nice? Do you think she deserved the title? While your deciding, check out some of the pictures from her spread in Italia Vogue:
I guess Ms. Hill has been reading the blogs and has decided to speak up about her and Rohan’s relationship. Just two hours ago, she tweeted this message to fans:
New details about Goodie Mob’s long-awaited fifth studio album were revealed on Monday. Cee Lo Green took to his Twitter account to announce “We Sell Drugs Too” as the title of his hip-hop group’s next record. Cee Lo went on to tweet that fans should “Expect nothing more than the same thang,” adding that he knows everyone will “love it.” A release date for “We Sell Drugs Too” hasn’t been announced, but the record is expected sometime this fall. Goodie Mob’s last release was 2004′s “One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show.” Cee Lo wasn’t included on that album, as he had already left the group to pursue a solo career. Read More »
