Sources are telling E! News that Whitney Houston’s death will be officially ruled an accident. The source says “nothing suspicious” has been discovered during the investigation to connect anyone to the pop icon’s passing. The cause of death has been temporarily listed as “deferred” on Houston’s death certificate while officials wait for the results of toxicology tests. Beverly Hills Police will reportedly have the results of the toxicology tests by next week, and the case could be closed soon after. Singer Actor Davy Jones From The Monkees’ dead at 66
Davy Jones,
whose charm and British accent won the hearts of millions of fans on the 1960s television series “The Monkees,” died Wednesday, according to the Martin County, Florida, sheriff’s office.
He was 66.
A witness told authorities he was with Jones in Indiantown, Florida, when Jones “began to complain of not feeling well and having trouble breathing,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Jones was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
A Martin County law enforcement source with knowledge of the case said Jones apparently suffered a heart attack.
The diminutive vocalist and actor sang lead on the musical group’s hits such as “Daydream Believer” and “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You.”
Besides Jones, The Monkees included band members Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith. The pop group was created to star in an NBC sitcom and capitalize on the Beatles’ teenybopper popularity. “The Monkees” TV series premiered in the fall of 1966.

Car In Jay-Z, Kanye Video Going Up For Auction : Pharrell Speaks About Blue Ivy
Jay-Z’s tribute song to his newborn daughter wasn’t a spur of the moment idea. Hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams explains to MTV News that he and Jay had worked on “Glory” before Blue Ivy Carter’s birth. Pharrell says “Glory” is their version of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely,” stating that they were just trying to “capture a moment in time.” Pharrell adds that he also recorded a song following the birth of his child, but kept it under wraps because he’s “more quiet and private” about his life than Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Jay-Z released “Glory” shortly after his daughter’s birth on January 7th. The track featured a clip of Blue Ivy crying, thus making her the youngest person to ever appear on a Billboard chart when “Glory” opened at number 74 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.
In other news The luxury automobile featured in Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Otis” video is being sold for a good cause. AllHipHop.com is reporting that the 2004 Maybach 57 featured in the clip will be auctioned off by Phillips de Pury & Company on March 8th. The vehicle is estimated to be worth between 100 and 150-thousand dollars. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Save the Children foundation.Â
Fans can check out Jay and Kanye’s Maybach before it’s sold. Originally it was a $350,000 car, but we’ll have to see what this one goes for. The car is currently on display at 450 Park Avenue in New York City Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Whitney Houston’s Final Film “Sparkle” Under Tight Security

It doesn’t look like fans will be getting an early preview of Whitney Houston’s final film. TMZ is citing sources who say “Sparkle” is under close watch to make sure no one leaks Whitney’s scenes or music. People are said to be working on the film “around the clock” to finish post-production as soon as they can. The building where “Sparkle” is being edited has also reportedly had its security increased. Starring alongside Whitney Houston in “Sparkle” are Jordin Sparks, Cee Lo Green and Mike Epps. The film is scheduled to debut in theaters on August 17th.

Common, Drake Had “Good Conversation” At Grammys and All Star Weekend
Common says rumors that he and Drake got into a physical altercation at the Grammy Awards are not true. Speaking with TSN’s “SportsCentre,” Common revealed that the two actually had a “good conversation” during the ceremony.
