The stars weren’t confined to the basketball court during NBA All-Star Weekend. Pitbull rocked the stage during halftime of Sunday’s contest, and was joined by Chris Brown for a performance of their hit “International Love.”

Chris Brown also performed his new single “Turn Up the Music,” while Ne-Yo jumped on stage with Pitbull to perform their hit song “Give Me Everything.” Pitbull’s halftime performance also included his songs “Rain Over Me,” “Krazy,” and “I Know You Want Me.”
Nicki Minaj was also a performer on Sunday night. The hip-hop diva performed her songs “Moment 4 Life,” “Turn Me On,” “Starships” and “Super Bass” during the player introductions. Mary J. Blige was also on hand to sing the national anthem.

He said he was gone do it and he did … Sean “Diddy” Combs is now an Academy Award winner. The hip-hop mogul’s documentary “Undefeated” won the Oscar on Sunday night for Documentary Feature. “Undefeated” beat out fellow nominees “Pina,” “Paradise Lost Three: Purgatory,” “If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front,” and “Hell and Back Again.” Following “Undefeated’s” victory, Diddy sent out an R-rated tweet to express his surprise. He also tweeted that “God is the greatest.”



Hip-hop fans eagerly awaiting a new Outkast album are going to have to remain patient. Andre 3000 tells “GQ” that he has no plans to release a new record with Big Boi. Andre does say that he has “a lot of music on the horizon,” most notably a new solo album. The rapper says he’s not sure when he’ll be releasing his next record, but adds that he hopes to have it in stores before the end of the year. Outkast’s last album was 2006′s “Idlewild,” which also served as the soundtrack to their film of the same name. Big Boi has since released the solo album “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty,” which dropped in 2010.
 Limp Bizkit is joining the ranks of Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake and more as the newest addition to the Cash Money family. Frontman Fred Durst recently took to Twitter to confirm reports he and the band have been signed to the record label founded by current co-CEOs Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Birdman” Williams. In a subsequent press release, Durst says Cash Money is “without a doubt” at the top of its game, adding that he was most attracted to their family atmosphere. On the label’s behalf, Birdman says they’ve always admired Limp Bizkit’s blend of rock and hip-hop and says they’re looking forward to the unique sound the band will bring to the label.
Pitbull performed for All star Weekend preforming hits like “Rain Over Me“ to “Give Me Everything,†Pitbull was the star of the halftime show. This years NBA All-Star Game took place in Orlando, FL and the West won over the East 152-149.. just in case you cared.

Hip-hop star Petey Pablo is already more than a month into his three-year prison sentence. TMZ has obtained court documents which state that the rapper began serving time at a West Virginia prison on January 4th. The court recommended that Petey Pablo also receive “intensive substance abuse treatment, vocational training and educational opportunities” while behind bars. Petey is scheduled to be released on July 17, 2014.
