Everything isn’t what it seems in Hollywood. Just ask Courtney Kemp and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson who now admit to staging a social media feud. As you know, Courtney and 50 work together on the Starz hit series ‘Power’.

Courtney created the show and 50’s a producer. Last year, the pair had a public social media feud, after 50 accused Courtney of airing his penis on one of the episodes, without his permission. At the time, 50 wrote on social media:

The scene was hard enough man, it’s not a regular sex scene. Courtney you of all people know this you wrote this sh*t. Ok I calm [sic] down Courtney call my phone. B*TCH CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT WITHOUT TELLING ME FIRST, WHOAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! Ok ok wait a little while before you call me. SMH

 

Ghost must die and @50cent must lie because you knew what we were shooting during 404. Yeah that’s your ? you signed the waiver like everybody else.

However, it turns out this entire beef was fake. In a recent interview, Courtney shares:

It’s all bullshit! 50 and I are extremely close, so all that social media drama? It’s just for the show. People truly believed that he did not know his dick was going to be on camera. I couldn’t believe it! Do you know how long we had to prepare for that shot? Of course he knew. The whole thing just gave us so much more buzz and helped me realize how we can use social media to our advantage. 50 Cent is a brilliant marketer.
