BET.com is reporting that Rufus Wainwright a canadian artist has a confession to make: in a May interview with Details, the openly gay Canadian singer says he “knows†that 50 Cent is gay.
“I love, love 50 Cent. I think he’s just the sexiest, and a brilliant writer. And I know he’s gay,†the singer said. When the interview asks how Wainwright knows, he replied: “That cute little voice of his,†adding: “It’s okay, 50 Cent. Feel free to call me anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts. You can come over for dinner. And maybe dessert.â€

Wainwright’s â€claims†are probably just wishful thinking. A few years back, Fiddy did a wide-ranging interview for Playboy magazine, in which he let his feelings known on the gay community:
“I ain’t into f—-ts,†the rapper declares in the issue, which hits stands Friday. “I don’t like gay people around me, because I’m not comfortable with what their thoughts are. I’m not prejudiced. I just don’t go with gay people and kick it — we don’t have that much in common. I’d rather hang out with a straight dude. But women who like women, that’s cool.â€
The comments came while the rapper admitted his mother was bisexual. â€It’s OK to write that I’m prejudiced,†he explained unapologetically. “This is as honest as I could possibly be with you. When people become celebrities they change the way they speak. But my conversation with you is exactly the way I would have a conversation on the street. We refer to gay people as f—-ts, as h–os. It could be disrespectful, but that’s the facts.â€

i think a lot of people feel “uncomfortable” around gay people because deep down…they really do think it could “rub off” on them…at the end of the day ir proves, they’re not confident enough in their own sexuality…but i have friends of different sexual orientations….
Agree with Pat, if you were comfortable with your sexuality it wouldn’t matter what the other person sexual orientation is or what kind of “thoughts” they are having around you. I notice in the entertainer business, there’s alot of gay people. 50 is trying to rid his body of tats to become an actor.He will be around “GayPeople” constantly, besides we know how big the DL culture is in the black male world. Try not to show hate to the people you will and probably are around alot… Might make it look like you are trying to prove something you don’t have to if you are not.
