50 Cent loses a multi-million dollar suit. Deets below.
If you remember back in 2011 accusations that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was doing shady business was in all the blogs.
50 joined forces with a company called Sleek, that was to rival Beats By Dre. However, Sleek and 50 Cent soon after parted ways, but not without Curtis leaving with half their customer list and alleged theft of their technology.
A suit was filed. And it seems the judge is siding with the tech company against Fiddy:
According to RadarOnline.com, the star invested more than $1 million to start his line, before deciding the create another set of headphones with a different company.
Court documents reportedly show Sleek were ”stunned” when they found the ‘Sync by 50’ headphones were ”basically the same design, mechanically” as the pair they had developed.
Shame on 50 for trying to lift someone’s intellectual property, client list and technology and start his own thing somewhere else.
Let the evidence show that if you go into business with the G-Unit leader you better keep your eye on him.
