The lovely actress Tichina Arnold turned 43 today . Arnold was one of my first TV crushes .
Her TV credits includes “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Martin”.
Tichina Arnold was born to a middle-class family in Queens, New York. Her mother was a sanitation department worker and her father was a police officer. She attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Tichina’s love for performing began in her childhood, holding church congregations as a four-year-old. When she turned eight, her mother and uncle encouraged her to audition, and she won a part in her first play The Me Nobody Knows at the Billie Holiday Theater in Brooklyn. She continued to perform in the theater and at supper clubs, starring in such production’s as Hair, Romance and Hard Times. She then landed parts in TV movies such as The Brass Ring in 1983 and PBS’ House of Dies Drear the year after.
Then her big break came in 1986 when she got the role of a lifetime, as one of the background singers in the movie “Little Shop of Horrors.” This movie scared the hell out of me for years I could not go in to my backyard thinking, “I would be attacked by the plants.”

I really think there’s something unstable with a person that talkes about sex 24/7. Kandi needs to partner with Hugh Heffner. Men ,I’m sure thinks that she is a complete freak in bed. Maybe that’s a good thing. I sure hope her daughter dosen’t attend public school, if so she has to be the butt of all jokes. Kandi need to focus on sueing Kim for all of that money she didn’t get for that stupid Tardy song. She such a fool when it comes to Kim. Now if that was NENE , and she didn’t get paid it would be a whole different story. I kinda like Kandi, but she just seems tooo damn freaky, and she talks through her teeth which is very annoying. Say what you want about Marlo, but she just may have a point about Kandi taking care of men.
