So, the Kirk Franklin of Hip Hop wants you to jump on the Last Train to Paris. I can appreciate the different sound Diddy brought to the table, but sometimes, if you’re not “in the music industryâ€Â music might not grab you at first. Normal people usually don’t like what music industry people like when it comes to music. I listened to this album the first time and couldn’t hear anything past the MF’s. I thought to myself, “Where is Mr. Positivity?†since lately Diddy has been on an anti-hate campaign. I was ready to say Diddy was straight tripping and this is not going to work AT ALL. Then I saw the video for “Ass on the Floor†and thought let me check this out one mo’ time. If you’re planning to hop on this train, my advice to you is this. Give it a listen, put it down, then listen again, and tell me what you think. The songs that I will have on repeat are “I Hate That You Love Meâ€, “Ass on the Floorâ€, “Someone to Love Meâ€, “Hello Good Morningâ€, and “Loving You No Moreâ€. I can certainly hear why it’s titled Last Train to Paris, because there is little room for the words HIP HOP on this train. My only question is will you be purchasing a ticket for this trip?
