Alicia Keys and Audra McDonald will pay tribute to legendary actress Ruby Dee at a public memorial in New York. The public memorial for Ruby Dee will be held at New York’s Riverside Church on September 20th.  Performing alongside Keys and McDonald will be singer Peter Yarrow, Grammy-winning a cappella group Sweet Honey in the Rock, and Grammy-winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.  Harry Belafonte will be deliver the eulogy.  Actresses Angela Bassett, Tyne Daly, Kim Fields, S. Epatha Merkerson and Phylicia Rashad will also read a medley of writings by Ruby.

Ruby Dee passed away in June at the age of 91.
