 Sad news to report TMZ has learned Hazell Stoudemire, the older brother of NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire, died early this morning in a car accident in Florida.
The accident happened on Route 27 in Lake Wales. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Stoudemire was driving at a “high rate of speed” when he collided with the rear of a tractor trailer.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 35-year-old Stoudemire was not wearing a seat belt when he smashed into a big rig truck. They are sure if alcohol was a factor. Hazell died on the scene.
Stoudemire was arrested in 2008Â for a felony charges of battery, kidnapping and aggravated assault, plus a misdemeanor battery-domestic violence charge. A woman at the time claim that Hazell Stoudemire had visited her home.
But after she refused to have relations, he allegedly forced himself on her, she claimed.
