“America’s Next Top Model” Host Rita Ora To Be Replaced By Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks is returning to host “America’s Next Top Model”. This season, the former super model went behind-the-scenes remaining an executive producer of the show, while singer Rita Ora served as host, but she’s now ready to return.

Sharing in a statement:

I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ‘ANTM’ fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart. After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ‘ANTM’ is woven into my DNA.

She also tweeted

I missed my ANTM baby so Mama’s back! #ANTM #ANTM24

So what does this mean for Rita Ora? It appears that she may be out, but there are no hard feelings. Tyra tweeted Rita:

Mizz @ritaora, you exemplify Business Boss Brand to the fullest! Thank you for all the amazingness you brought to ANTM ?

Production will begin this summer. Banks, who hosted all 22 seasons of Top Model on UPN and the CW, will continue as executive producer. This news comes days after it was announced that she would replace Nick Cannon on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.

Update #2. Rita Ora has confirmed her departure and posted a sweet message to Tyra on Instagram.

Words can’t describe how much FUN I had hosting this show for you – it was such an honour – I grew up watching and loving the show it was a dream come true and I can’t wait for you to hear my new album! It’s TIME PEOPLE!!! Love the whole ANTM cast and crew and good luck for the future!! Love you @tyrabanks ❤❤❤
