New Orleans emcee B.G. has entered a plea in his gun possession case. The rapper pleaded not guilty in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court last Thursday. B.G. and two other men were arrested last November after police found three weapons and loaded magazines in their vehicle.
Two of the three firearms were also reported stolen. B.G., whose real name is Christopher Dorsey, was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Court records reveal that earlier in 2009, B.G. was arrested and booked into jail on drug charges. He was also arrested in Texas last year.
B.G. released his eleventh studio record, “Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood,” last December. The album features appearances from the likes of Lil Wayne, T.I., and Young Jeezy, and has peaked at number six on the U.S. Billboard Top Rap Albums chart.
