You need to be careful who you leave your kids with! Just yesterday, a woman by the name of Keyona Davis, put an 8 month old baby in a stroller in the back of a pick up truck. A motorist stayed behind the pick up truck the entire time until it turned down a road where the police picked the pick-up truck at. While anyone would immediately notice that this is dangerous and not okay, Keyona Davis went to court and tried to act as if she didn’t know this was wrong. She says she got her first kid at the age of 16. She went on further to say that they don’t give people handbooks on what’s neglect and what’s not neglect.
While they may not hand out books on what’s neglect, I believe that she should have enough common sense to know that putting an 8-month old child in the back of a pick-up is not ok. What if the truck hit a bump? What if the truck had a wreck? Overall, the whole situation is crazy. She was released on her own recognizance. She is ordered to stay away from the child the court said she neglected. However, charges for child neglect still stand. What would you have done if you saw something like this? Better yet, what would you do if this was your child that you left in her hands thinking that you could trust her?
like…seriously? she needs her head beat in. i dont see how in conversing with her, one wouldnt be able to tell that she’s “late for the party”, if ya know what i mean. can you imagine what other bright ass ideas she’s had? look at that weave for instance smh
It’s amazing that the wind blowing in the baby’s face did not take the baby’s breath away. The laws about car seats have been in force for many years. She was negligent and stupid and should have known better. She needs an appropriate punishment along with parenting classes.
