Women LOVE Kamal’s swag, his long twist hair style and his sultry voice. Today, I had the chance to be on set to check out the behind the scenes footage of his video shoot courtesy of N-Vision Marketing Inc. At 6’7″ most singers look up to him physically, LOL However after the release of his album I think a lot of them will look up to him for his music. The theme of his album is to showcase songs which honor and respect women yet embraces having good clean fun, like “Remedy”, “Smile”, “Sexy & You Know”which is Kamal’s ode to the everyday women (teachers, secretaries, stay-at-home-moms, etc.) who are ignored by mainstream media, society and even the average man.

The Atlanta resident feels too many of today’s male artists in R&B, Hip Hop make records which are very misogynistic in tone. As a Macon, GA native he grew up listening to the sounds of legendary soul singers like legendary Soul singer Otis Redding (who was also a Macon native), Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Stevie Wonder.
