Beyonce and Jay Z brought their On The Run II tour into Columbia, SC and copped the key to the city afterward.
The Carters brought their “On The Run II” tour to the States last month. This week, Mr. and Mrs. Carter rolled into Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina to go “apesh*t” in front of 40,000 screaming fans.
After tearing up the stage, Columbia mayor Steve Benjamin presented the key to the city to the superstar couple. In a tweet, the mayor called their performance incredible along with a picture of himself honoring Jay Z with the key to the city. He also announced that August 21st will now be recognized as Beyonce Knowles & Shawn Carter Day:
