Beyonce has turned her letter to Michelle Obama into a video. The singer also offers a brief explanation behind her letter as an introduction to the YouTube clip.
Beyonce originally posted the handwritten letter on her website back in April. In the letter the pop diva describes the First Lady as the “ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.” She praises Michelle for remaining “humble, loving and sincere” under pressure, and adds that she’s proud that her own daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, can “grow up in a world” where she has people like Michelle “to look up to.” The clip ends with links for people who want to support President Obama’s presidential campaign.
