It turns out there’s nothing cooking in Beyonce’s kitchen. A rep for the pop megastar tells Today.com that rumors of a Beyonce cookbook are “untrue.” The U.K.’s “Daily Mirror” had previously cited an unnamed source who said the singer had decided to publish a soul food cookbook after receiving encouragement from friend and actress Gwyneth Paltrow. It may be a good thing that Beyonce isn’t doing a cookbook, as the idea hasn’t been very well received in the blogosphere. Many people have been critical of the plan, recalling Beyonce’s 2009 declaration that she’s a “disaster in the kitchen.” Beyonce added that her secret when entertaining friends is to have food delivered from “the best restaurants.”
