Beyonce Stole The Concept For Her ‘1+1’ Video?

Word on the street is that Beyonce has swagger jacked  French director Henri-Georges Clouzot’s concept from his movie Inferno for her new video for 1+1. While looking at the video clip of Inferno it’s no surprise why many would think that Beyonce stole the concept. However, Bey is honest about most things like this. For instance in her video for Who Run The World (Girls) she told everyone in her documentary for 4 that she got the idea for the dance moves from a video she saw on YouTube. Perhaps this was another video clip that she saw. I honestly don’t see the issue with it being that in everything there is something that we have saw somewhere. Hopefully this situation doesn’t spiral out of control like the one with Rihanna and famous photographer David LaChapelle. I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see if anybody from her camp will respond to these accusations. Take a look at the videos before and do some comparisons for yourself.

After looking at the videos, would you agree that it seems as if she mimicked the French movie? Are you surprised something like this has come up?

I would be more impressed with this B video if 1. The lyrics were not so stupid and childish. 2. If she took the song and just ripped it apart and stopped trying to exude her vagina all over the video. 3. If you are gonna do something that makes me think of Prince and Purple Rain you better bring it bitch. You did not bring it. When is she going to go away. Go to Africa and help the starving children for a while.

OF COURSE YOU KNOW BEYONCE IS NOT ORIGINAL LIKE JANET & MICHAEL JACKSON , & MADONNA BUT YET SHE WANTS TO BE ON THEIR LEVEL. SHE STOLE THIS VIDEOA AND WHEN HER CAMP FINDS OUT THAT THE COPYRIGHTED VIDEO IS FLOATING AROUND NEXT TO L’Enfer (essais), d’Henri-Georges Clouzot , THEN THEY WILL HAVE BEYONCE TO SAY SHE WAS “INSPIRED” JUST LIKE SHE STOLE HER BILLBOARD PERFORMANCE, THE GRAPHICS FROM JANET JACKSON’S “FEEDBACK” & LORI COCHELLA THAT ITALIAN ARTIST AND THEN SHE SAID SHE WAS INSPIRED, JANET DID THE GRAPHICS BEFORE THE ITALIAN LADY DID IT, BEYONCE IS NOT ORIGINAL SHE IS PRETTY AND THATS ALL. SHE DEFINATELY LIFTED THIS FROM THAT MOVIE.

Well….I don’t agree with her not giving credit to the original artists for inspiring her work. But honestly, I see nothing wrong with her using these ideas and concepts for her videos. Beyonce is an internationally known recording artist with legions of fans that perhaps would have never known about this French movie if Beyonce had not used elements of it in her video. It introduces the movie to a whole other group of possible fans. People often criticize Beyonce for being unoriginal but I am hard pressed to find any artist who has completely original ideas. Look at Kanye West and Diddy, two people who made careers out of jacking old music samples. Maybe unoriginal but there are millions of kids who now know the words to Love Hangover by Diana Ross and Through the Fire by Chaka Khan because of these two men. I applaud Bey for reaching so far out of the box to draw her inspiration and in doing so, she took something that was done before and tailored it to fit her style and sound. This French director should feel honored that someone as classy as her drew fromhis work. Again, he should ask for Bey too give credit where credit is due….but stop being so damn uptight…sheesh!
