Black Celebrity Giving and Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation Partner to Host The 5th Annual Giving Boutique; A Celebrity Shopping Experience Benefiting 750 Homeless Youth in Atlanta!

The new school year is now back in session and Black Celebrity giving showered families with back to school supplies, clothes, shoes, food and more ! Read more below on what Black Celebrity giving is doing, and shout out to Jasmine Crowe, founder of BCG for making this possible and for Lil Yachty for making a suprise appearance for the guests !

WHY:To develop the campaign, we interviewed several homeless teens and families living in Atlanta and Los Angeles. And we were shocked to hear that an overwhelming number of the people we spoke to felt dehumanized by the amount of discarded and unwanted donations they receive, often in trash bags. BCG learned that while they were grateful for the help, it made them feel hopeless and unwanted.  With that information in mind, BCG set forward to offer homeless families across the country, the opportunity to have a true “shopping experience,” minus the price tags, of course.

The event was made possible by GRAMMY nominated Hip Hop mogul Jeezy and his Street DreamZ Foundation. Jeezy has been working with youth and families in the Atlanta area for the past 10 years and this year joined forces with BCG to support homeless youth. Lil Jon also pitched in with a big donation to help purchase new shoes, backpacks and underwear for the children.

WHAT: The first of our pop-up shopping boutiques is set to take place in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, August 5, 2017. We are thrilled to say that we will be able to offer this unique shopping experience and day of pampering to more than 750 homeless and low-income youth in partnership with the Street Dreamz Foundation, founded GRAMMY nominated Hip-Hop Mogul Jeezy, Radio One Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 FM, Athlete’s Foot and more.  The Street Dreamz Foundation has had a footprint in Atlanta for the past 10 years providing financial resources, food and more to children in the community. Each child will receive three to four outfits, new under-garments, school supplies and shoes. Beyond being able to cover the basic necessity of back-to-school items, we are excited to be offering these youth and their families a true shopping experience, complete with a DJ, popcorn bar, sweets table, Nancy’s Pizza and more. As an added treat, our youth will be greeted by a host of celebrity sales associates.

Thanks to BCG Atlanta Giving BoutiquePartners: Campbellton Road Community Center, 40 Girls and Some Shoes, Hip Hop Gives Back, Rich Boys, Cupcake Mafia, Nancy’s Pizza, Jump On and Partei, Pro Snap Booth, Tom, Dick and Hank, SWAG Shop, Jump Inflatables, Law Office of Sheryl L.
