Bobby Brown is facing DUI charges in Los Angeles. The singer was taken in to custody Monday afternoon after he was pulled over for allegedly driving while talking on a cell phone. Police say Brown showed signs of intoxication and was unable to perform a series of field sobriety tests when asked to do so. He was taken to a Van Nuys jail and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence. Brown was released after posting five-thousand dollars bail.
Bobby Brown is the ex-husband of late singer Whitney Houston who died suddenly last month at the age of 48. Bobby’s brief appearance at Whitney’s funeral created headlines for his early exit. Brown left the service early following a dispute with Houston’s family.
