Brandy Announces Plans To Release New Album In August : Not Joining Cast Of ‘Soul Man’

It looks like Brandy’s fans can start counting down the days until they can get their hands on her first album in almost four years. The R&B singer sent out a message on Facebook and Twitter earlier this week that said “Two Eleven” will drop on August 28th. The set includes the single “Put It Down,” which features Chris Brown, as well as “It All Belongs to Me,” which marked Brandy’s first collaboration with Monica since the duo’s 1998 smash “The Boy Is Mine.” “Two Eleven” will also feature guest appearances from Bangladesh, Frank Ocean, Rico Love, Sean Garrett, Hit-Boy, and others. Brandy recently told Billboard.com she wants to make a record with “something for everybody,” ranging from “real R&B” and dance songs to “bang-out ballads.”

Brandy, will not be joining the cast of TV Land’s, ‘Soul Man’ like other media outlets reported. Brandy was simply paying her dear friends on the cast of, ‘SOUL MAN’, a visit on set.

Please continue to suppor Brandy on the new season of Lifetime Network’s, ‘Drop Dead Diva, which started June 03, 2012.
