Mary J. Blige might have second thoughts the next time she decides to dabble in the fast food industry. MTV News says Burger King pulled the R&B diva’s new commercial from their YouTube channel just one day after its debut. The ad, which premiered Monday, features Mary singing about the Crispy Chicken Snack Wrap. Fans were quick to voice their displeasure about the commercial, calling the spot stereotypical and accusing the singer of selling out. It’s been rumored that Blige received two-million dollars for the commercial.

Mary J. Blige isn’t the only celebrity to help promote Burger King’s new menu. Soccer star David Beckham, late night comedian Jay Leno, and actress Selma Hayek are also working with the fast food chain. Check out the video below…

I don’t understand the dislike for the commercial. Why not celebrate her success with landing the commercial. I’ve seen on twitter those mentioning her vocals but dang. A few complaints for chicken and the add pulled , several protest for injustice & NO ARREST FOR THE MURDER OF TRAYVON MARTIN!
