Chioma Gray went missing from her family at the age of 15 and has recently been reunited with her family, now 4 years later at the age of 19. Gray went missing from her family the day after her boyfriend who was 20 when she was 15, was released from jail. The story gets interesting because her then 20 year old boyfriend had been locked up for unlawful sex with a minor, which was with her.
Gray’s boyfriend, Andrew Tafoya, had been locked up for seven months. Immediately afterwards, he stole a car and got Gray and went over the border to Mexico. Surveillance cameras saw the two cross the border so Gray’s family obviously searched for her all through Mexico. At one point, a charred body was found and police told her family that it was probably her body. However, her family didn’t take this as an acceptable answer. From there, the family hired a private investigator.
Through the private investigator’s, Chuck Hookstra, work they discovered that Gray and Tafoya were working at a tourist spot. At the tourist spot Gray was working as a waitress and Tafoya as a snorkeling instructor. Gray’s mother, Francine Black, then filed a civil suit against Tafoya and his family for charges including “custodial interference, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and aiding and abetting in the interference of custodial relations.”
Eventually Andrew Tafoya turned himself in to the U.S. Marshalls. As of today, there have been no charges filed. I personally love stories like this that represent hope and faith. What are your thoughts on this story? Can you believe that a girl who was missing for 4 years turned up to her family?

It’s sad that the family had to go through this because she chose to abandon them for some man…it’s a blessing though that no harm has came to her and she is alive…best ending possible. She really has some explaining to do though…I’m sure she has no idea the pain and stress she has brought on her family…hopefully everything can be settled and the family can come together and make it work.

ok so what she wanted to be with her boyfriend, parents always tryna blame the nigga when they daughter the one that is agreeing to being with the dude in the first place, she fucked him just like he fucked her . Now him takin her was also something she agreed upon, hell she didnt go back or try to go back or tell them. She went with him and got a job ..thank God she is safe, but why go thru all that just to be with someone. mistakes happen, you parents cant stop everything

i dont understand why the mom continues with the authorities if her daughter is making a life for herself working and so is the boyfriend, DEAL WITH IT IN BETWEEN THE FAMIYL AND GET OVER IT, OBVIOUSLY HIS INTENTIONS WERE NOT TO HARM HER, UGHHHHH!!!
