Breaking into the rap game is one of the trickiest paths to maneuver not just in music, but in life. For the past two seasons, Lifetime’s The Rap Game has highlighted the many aspects of this daunting, delirious process. And on January 13th, The Rap Game is back for an incredible third season that you won’t want to miss.

When news broke earlier this week about actor/comedian/singer Wayne Brady stepping into the role of Aaron Burr in the Chicago cast of “Hamilton,” the reaction was ecstatic for most theater fans, and perhaps a bit confusing for others.
Today we as people have embarked on a new era. The times have changed, the seasons have turned and the people have become vain and numb to the sensible way of living. The things we had once cared about have become waste, the decisions we’ve made as a people have created a generation of lost love for souls. Where as before the founding forefathers were brought over to America fought against the slave owners to keep their families together. Where as now people fight against their own families to get away from them by getting a divorce, or legal separation, or even as far as creating baby daddy’s and baby momma’s. How can we as a people want more out of life when life is demanding more out of us and we refuse to give more of what we have to offer back to life. The challenge to overcome every obstacle is not won by fighting the obstacle itself but by overturning its intentions to break us down and keep us from moving in the direction we were attempting to go before the challenge was in our way.
At least now we understand another reason why Ceasar Emanuel of vh1 Black Ink Crew baby-mama doesn’t want her daughter hanging out with her baby daddy (besides the fact that he allegedly still owes back child support). First we thought Ceasar baby-mama didn’t want his daughter around his fiance’ Dutchess Lattimore. However, we received a tip from one of Ceasar’s employees that he has no problem having his daughter around known drug abusers and recently spotted Ceasar at Disney World in Orlando, Florida riding rides in the park and having father daughter day with his friend, and convicted sex offender Travis Denard Wright aka @Holyshit407 on IG. Wow! Really?
Wright lists himself as a tattoo artist of Black Ink in NYC and Pretty in Ink in Charlotte on his Instagram page as well as the tattoo shop he owns in Orlando, Fl. Ceasar’s friend goes by the street name “Trap” real name Travis Denard Wright.
What do you think? Is it cool for Ceasar to have his daughter in the company of his convicted sex offender employees under the circumstances? Or does the fact that he is right there present with her and Travis daughter at Disney World too make it cool? Where was Dutchess? Probably working at her own shop “Pretty in Ink” Charlotte or maybe somewhere bickering with Donna & Skye at Black Ink in NYC.
Would you be upset if you were Ceasar’s babymama and saw this picture on instagram? Sound off in the comments… Ceasar you might have some splaining to do (in my Lucy Ricardo voice)…
American boy band Mindless Behavior came on the music scene in 2008 with the help of Keisha Gamble, Walter Millsap and Vincent Herbert. Their debut album # 1 Girl was released in 2011 and debuted on US Billboard 200 album chart at number seven. Mindless Behavior has toured with the likes of mainstream artist as the Backstreet Boys, Justin Bieber and Jason Derulo and was the sole opening act for the one and only superstar Janet Jackson. The list goes on and on being the headliner for BETs first Closer To My Dreams tour alongside various other artist and also headlined the SCREAM tour.
Tina Knowles (Beyoncé’s mother), had a few words to share last night about the rumors surfacing the net about her supposedly lying on her daughter’s behalf. Tina, when accepting her award made it known that Beyoncé was not able to stay because she had to rush back to London for her concert the next day for her scheduled tour.

With all this being said she was fed up when she caught wind of what was being said by haters of course and she let us know she was only addressing these rumors for Beyoncé’s real fans. Tina starts off by saying in her lengthy message on her instagram post that “we celebrate when the stumble, we hope that they fall.” Basically saying that you have all this to say now but you were probably just with the hype about 3 hours ago when she was on stage, so stop cut it out.
Tina then went on to elaborate on the real sacrifices that Beyoncé had to endure just to make that BET Awards performance even happen in the way that it did. The time and money sacrifices were unbelievable and beyond what many could even imagine.
The ignorance saddens me because we know that Beyoncé is a genuine person and literally puts her all times 10 into everything she does. What performer do you know these days that care about there fans as much to only get three hours of sleep just to make everyone happy?
Half of these “artist” that you all vouch for can’t even spell nor show up to a performance on time for you to leave with barely even an experience at all.
Come on now people, know a diamond when you see one. Beyoncé and her entire team are the epitome of dedication and soul, don’t take that for granted while it’s here and then cry your eyes out later when it’s no more.
No one knows what one day in Beyoncé’s world looks like so for the future:
1. Do not speak on what you do not know.
2. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
God bless you all!
Let me just start by saying that the 4 minutes of spotlight that Jesse Williams was allotted had the potential to change someone’s life. While he was speaking last night I was speechless as I’m sure many others were. The truth was reiterated time and time again in Jesse’s speech at the BET Awards when he was presented with the Humanitarian Award.
Jesse started his speech off strong and humble, saying that the award was not just for him but the struggling people all over the world. He gave special and much needed recognition to the African-American women and mothers of the world because he realizes that they are rarely appreciated daily for everything they go through. Beyond this he goes into talking about the racial dynamics of this country and the breakdown of where it all starts.
Yes, African-Americans were oppressed (and still are) and our ancestors fought to get us out of oppression so why do we continue to do the dirty work for them by oppressing ourselves? His speech was honestly a s for everyone to wake up because it i so much bigger than making money and throwing a couple of name brands on your body.
Look at the bigger picture!
I strongly urge everyone to take 4 valuable minutes of your life and analyze each bullet that Jesse hits in his speech, it is amazing.
Btw, Jesse graduated from Temple University which is my school! Great minds really do think alike, that gives me so much hope for the future!
