KeKe Palmer Hosts Private Movie Screening “Joyful Noise”

KeKe Palmer and Rap Artist “Dat Guy” Pose for a Picture at a Private Screening of the new movie Joyful Noise. This new film stars Queen Latifah as “Vi Rose Hill” aka KeKe’s(Olivia) Momma in this “Inspiring Feel Good” gospel meets comedy meets love story type new film. The movie was filmed in Atlanta. You will see a LOT of familiar faces like Courtney Vance (married to Angela Bassett), Atlanta based Singer 14yr old Ivan Kelley Jr., Dolly Parton and Kirk Franklin.

After the movie there was a Panel/Audience Discussion hosted by 11alive News Anchor Karen Grier. Special thanks to Tirrell Whittney and Nick Nelson of Liquid Soul Media for the special invite to myself and my side kick publicist Jonell PR. The movie screening brought out some other TV Reality stars such as Towanda Braxton accompanied by her date little Braxton. Check out more pics.

Master P’s Daughter Cymphonique Got Her Own Show on Nickelodeon

Master P’s daughter Cymphonique has been granted  her own television show on the kids network, Nickelodeon, titled “How to Rock.” According to sources, this 15-year-old girl is following the footsteps of her older brother who also had a show on Nick titled “Romeo!” that was aired from 2003 to 2006.

This wasn’t what their daddy wanted.  Master P told AllHipHop he tried to hold back his daughter. The television industry “Is a sick business” because it’s easy to get taken advantage of.  However, he said that he thinks raw talent can’t be held back.

Sources added that “How to Rock” is not just Master P’s daughter’s entrance to the TV channel, but it’s also an attempt for the channel to boost its downfall ratings.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand File for Divorce

Russell Brand filed for divorce from Katy Perry friday.

In the docs, filed in L.A.,TMZ is reporting that Brand cites “irreconcilable differences.” The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India. They have no kids.

 

The divorce docs say there are “community property assets” which tells us there might not be a prenup, or if there is one it doesn’t cover all of the earnings and other assets they accumulated durning there marriage.

 

The divorce docs don’t give the date the couple separated.

 

Russell has released a statement, claiming, “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”

Hospital Denies Beyonce Birth Rumors : Spotted With Jay-Z in NYC Night Club

The hospital in which Beyonce was rumoured to be checking into, has denied that the star has booked out an entire floor ahead of the birth of her first child.

Rumours got out earlier this week  started by the homie over at MediaTakeOut that the ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ singer was due to give birth any day now, and had booked out almost an entire floor at the Labour & Delivery Department at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in NYC.

According to sources, a hospital staff member dismissed the rumours saying that there is no section of the Labour unit booked out for a VIP guest.

In addition, Jay-Z was spotted watching the New Jersey Nets – the team he part owns – the night before the rumours broke, plus he and Bey were spied dancing the night away at W.I.P. club. A source told People that the couple “seemed to be having a blast.”

Mike Tyson in Legal Trouble Over His 9-year-old Son

Mike Tyson is in legal troubles with his ex-girlfriend, Sol Xochitl over their 9-year-old son Miguel.

 

According to sources, he filed for joint physical custody of his son and asked the court to lower his child support payment.

 

Mike had to pay an amount of $3,000 a month as child support payment.

 

But he asked the judge to reduce the amount to $970 per month after he got tired of flying Miguel to and from Vegas from Phoenix every weekend. But his ex appears to pick up a fight here saying that Mike is an unfit parent and he already has too much visitation.

According to sources of National Enquirer, she further claimed that she has a video of Mike smoking weed in front of Miguel. She said she’s ready to use the video in court if needed.

Miguel actually their second child. Their first child, 4-year-old girl named Exodus died after getting tangled on a treadmill cord.

Essence Atkins Blessed With New Baby Boy

Apparently the best Christmas present recipient this year was actress Essence Atkins who gave birth to their first baby boy on Christmas day.

The homies over at BCK confirmed Essence tweeted saying that it was her and her husband Jamie Mendez’s first baby who was in a beautiful and healthy condition. The couple has been married since past 2 years. The source added that they named their first child, Varro, which means durable and strong in Latin.

Atkins had a rather comfortable pregnancy as she told that she didn’t have any morning sickness. Even she went to Paris for just 30 hours and came back, popped bottles and everything in a good condition. Now that her child is in good condition as well. What else could a mom ask for in a Christmas?
